Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to examine the verses regarding the prohibition of hoarding wealth using Fazlur Rahman's maudhu'i (synthetic logic) interpretation method. This is because there is an editorial verse which discusses the characteristics of people who hoard wealth. To get answers to these problems, the author uses a qualitative type of library research method by analyzing content (content analysis) which results in the conclusion that there are verses that prohibit someone from hoarding wealth so that this causes a person to be negligent which is marked by not spending his wealth in the way of Allah as explained in His word in the Koran surah Al-Humazah (1-3), At-Takatsur (1), and At-Taubah (34-35).Keywords: Fazlur Rahman; Maudhu 'Method; Prohibition of Hoarding Goods. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji ayat-ayat tentang larangan menimbun harta menggunakan metode tafsir maudhu’i (sintetik logic) Fazlur Rahman. Hal ini dikarenakan adanya redaksi ayat yang membahas mengenai ciri-ciri orang yang menimbun harta. Untuk mendapatkan jawaban dari permasalahan tersebut, penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif jenis library research dengan menganalisis isi (content analysis) yang menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa ada ayat-ayat yang melarang seseorang untuk menimbun harta sehingga hal ini menyebabkan seseorang menjadi lalai yang ditandai dengan tidak menginfakkan hartanya dijalan Allah seperti yang dijelaskan pada firman-Nya didalam al-Qur’an surah  Al-Humazah (1-3), At-Takatsur (1), dan At-Taubah (34-35). Abstract

Abstract This research focuses on the perspective of Yusuf al-Qaradawi regarding sunnah ghairu tasyri', particularly the practice of eating with three fingers in the context of modern life. The writer uses a qualitative method with the analytical-descriptive approach to explore how Yusuf al-Qaradawi differentiates between sunnah related to Islamic law and those that are not. In developing the concept of hadith ghairu tasyri', this study emphasizes that sunnah is not limited only to matters of Islamic law but also has implications for ethics and morality. The importance of contextualizing the hadith about eating with three fingers lies in its key to understanding religious teachings within social, cultural, and contemporary settings. This helps to avoid extreme interpretations and highlights that hadith content should not be understood merely in a literal sense. Furthermore, this study underlines the educational values contained within it and points out the significance of the Sunnah as a guiding universal principle. The results of this research show that Yusuf al-Qaradawi's understanding of sunnah ghairu tasyri', especially regarding the hadith on eating with three fingers, reflects values such as patience, avoiding greed, and training in carefulness. In today's Islamic world, Yusuf al-Qaradawi's view on sunnah ghairu tasyri' encourages us to pursue broader knowledge without abandoning or being overly bound by traditions from the past. Keywords: Ghairu Tasyri’; Sunnah; Yusuf Al-Qaradawi.   Abstrak Penelitian ini berfokus pada perspektif Yusuf al-Qaradhawi tentang sunnah ghairu thasri’ khususnya praktik makan dengan tiga jari dalam konteks kemodernan. Penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif dan deskriptif analitis untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana Yusuf al-Qaradhawi membedakan antara sunnah yang berkaitan dengan hukum syariah dan yang tidak. Dalam menyempurnakan konsep hadits ghairu tashri’, penelitian ini menekankan bahwa sunnah tidak hanya terbatas pada hukum syariah saja namun juga berimplikasi pada etika dan moralitas. Pentingnya mengkontekstualisasikan hadis tentang makan dengan tiga jari menjadi kunci untuk memahami ajaran agama dalam konteks sosial, budaya, dan kekinian untuk menghindari penafsiran yang ekstrim dan mengakui bahwa isi hadis tidak boleh dipahami hanya secara harfiah. Lebih lanjut, kajian ini menekankan nilai-nilai pendidikan yang tertanam di dalamnya dan menggarisbawahi pentingnya sunnah sebagai prinsip pedoman universal. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sunnah ghairu tasyri Yusuf Qordhowi khususnya terhadap hadits makan tiga jari menunjukkan adanya nilai-nilai kesabaran, menghindari sifat tamak dan melatih skill ketelitian. Kemudian dalam dunia Islam Kontemporer, sunnah ghairu tasyri Yusuf Qordhowi mendorong kita untuk memamahami ilmu yang lebih luas tanpa meninggalkan dan terpaku pada tradisi masa lalu. Abstract

Abstract;Science is one of the most significant factors in approaching and identifying objects. It requires the foundation of actual self-awareness, such as understanding Khudi. The path of modernity and the increasing spirit of the Western Renaissance forced modern science to behave fragmentarily. As a result, the physical dimension is distinct from the metaphysical dimension, which is defined by values and morals. Therefore, this research aims to examine specific characteristics and perspectives of modern science, which will then be critiqued through the perspective of Muhammad Iqbal's Khudi philosophy. The study is library research with a philosophical approach, assessing the data critically. According to the findings of this study, Muhammad Iqbal's Khudi has a comprehensive-integral effect on a person by reviewing his consciousness. Thus, this philosophy provides universality, wise judgment, and a positive life connection from a philosophical standpoint, particularly for our era of scientific developments that serve as a reference for modern living.Keywords:Khudi; Modern; Renaissance; Science; Universal. Abstrak;Sains merupakan salah satu hal yang penting dalam upaya mendekati, dan mengenal objek-objek yang ada, maka perlu dasar kesadaran diri yang benar sepeti pemahaman khudi. Sebab, arah kemodernan dengan semangat Renaisans Barat yang berkembang menjadikan Sains Modern berprilaku fregmentatif.  Sehingga dimensi fisik terlepas dari dimensi metafisik yang syarat akan nilai, serta moral. Maka, penelitian ini berusaha menganalisa aspek dan sisi tertentu pada sains modern, untuk kemudian dikritisi dengan perspektif dari khudi Muhammad Iqbal Penelitian merupakan library research dengan menggunakan pendekatan filosofis secara analisis-kritis, atas data-data. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa Khudi Muhammad Iqbal memiliki pengaruh yang komperhensif-Integral pada diri seseorang dengan tinjauan kesadarannya. Sehingga, itu membawa keuniversalan, pertimbangan bijak, dan keterkaitan hidup yang baik dari basis filosofis, terutama bagi tren sains era ini yang dipakai sebagai rujukan hidup yang modern.Kata Kunci:   Khudi; Modern; Renaisans; Sains; Universal.

Abstract

Abstract; This research focuses on the epistemological anarchist thought of Paul Feyerabend and its implications for Islamic thought. He believes that science should not be stagnant and should not be falsified to test its truth. The author uses descriptive-analytical analysis with library research data which then results in the conclusion that in Islamic Thought Feyerabend's epistemological theory of anarchism offers an interesting perspective for understanding Islamic thought. By emphasizing plurality, ijtihad, and criticism of dogmatism, Feyerabend provides inspiration for Muslims to develop an understanding of religion that is more dynamic and relevant to the times. Keywords: Anarchism; Islamic Thought; Paul Feyerabend.   Abstrak; Penelitian ini fokus pada pemikiran anarkis epistemologis Paul Feyerabend dan Implikasinya terhadap Pemikiran Islam. Ia beranggapan bahwa ilmu pengetahuan itu tidak boleh bersifat stagnan dan tidak harus difalsifikasi untuk menguji kebenarannya. Penulis menggunakan deskriptif-analitis dengan data library research yang kemudian menghasilkan simpulan bahwa dalam Pemikiran Islam teori anarkisme epistemologis Feyerabend menawarkan perspektif yang menarik untuk memahami pemikiran Islam. Dengan menekankan pluralitas, ijtihad, dan kritik terhadap dogmatisme, Feyerabend memberikan inspirasi bagi umat Islam untuk mengembangkan pemahaman agama yang lebih dinamis dan relevan dengan zaman. Abstract

Cases of intolerance of certain groups have recently increased, particularly in the glorifying of the Qur'anic mushaf. These cases result from differing interpretations of the Qur'an. This study focuses on Surah Al-Waqi'ah: 79, which discusses touching the Qur'an in a state of purity. The community has numerous perspectives on the meaning of pure in the verse, resulting in an ongoing debate. This study employed a qualitative method, with the ma’na cum maghza hermeneutic approach serving as the analytical tool. The ma'na-cum-maghza is an interpretation approach that uses the original literal meaning (historical or explicit meaning) as the foundation for understanding the text's main message (implied meaning). The ma’na cum maghza approach begins with the meaning (ma'na) of a Quranic text as understood by the first audience and progresses to significance (maghza) for contemporary situations. According to the findings of this study, the meaning of al-muthahharun is more than just a human being free of hadas (impurities). Therefore, touching the Qur'an does not always require prior ablution.

Abstract

This research focuses on the Javanese locality in interpreting Surah Luqman: 21 in the book of tafsir al-Ibriz.. The objective is to determine the locality of Javanese culture that K.H. Bisri Musthofa incorporated into his interpretation. K.H Bisri Musthofa's reality in society is rich in cultural practices. The researchers then employed a qualitative method to collect data via library research, followed by content analysis to conclude that K.H. Bisri Mushtofa asserts that he dialogues the Qur'an with local culture to ensure the validity of his interpretation. He utilized Javanese pegon (modified Javanese script) for interpretation and incorporated instances of Javanese traditional practices, including sajen (offering), sowing porridge, and mitoni (the traditional ceremony to celebrate the seventh month of pregnancy). Then, he divided the culture that existed in Javanese society into two types.  First, some cultures should not be preserved, such as offering offerings and sprinkling porridge. This is because it is contrary to Islamic teachings.  Second, culture can be preserved because it is in accordance with Islamic teachings, the basic principle of which is almsgiving, for example mitoni.
