Abstract

Motorcycles produce a variety of sounds. Sound is synonymous with noise. Noise is big enough to have an impact on the comfort of a place that is directly related to the highway. The distance between the hospital building and the road must be taken into account. This distance is important for the realization of patient comfort in the hospital/treatment room. The volume of motorcycles, light vehicles and heavy vehicles must be controlled, especially those passing through schools/places of worship/hospitals. Traffic flow/volume of motorcycles, light vehicles and heavy vehicles have a significant effect on noise. The calculation results obtained the largest equation on the fourth day of research at the third point (sound level meter2), with a contribution of 34.22% at y = 59.11 + 0.3x1 - 0.1x2 - 0.17x3. This equation means that if there is no decrease in the volume of motorcycles, light vehicles and heavy vehicles, the noise level in SLM2 is 59.11dBA. If there is an increase in the volume of motorcycles, light vehicles and heavy vehicles, the noise significantly affects. The results of the second equation from the calculation of the first day at the third point (sound level meter3) with a contribution of 19.30% based on the equation, y = 60.54 + 0.01x1 – 0.01x2 + 0.08x3. This means that if there is an increase in the volume of the motorcycle, the noise on the SLM3 is 60.54dBA. From the results obtained, there has been a decrease in the volume of motorcycles, light vehicles and heavy vehicles that pass through RS Hermina Bogor during the Covid-19 pandemic, because many hospital visitors/users do not travel or self-isolate at home. Decrease in the number of motorized vehicles that pass in front of the hospital. RS Hermina Bogor reached 45%.

Abstract

Each motorized vehicle produces a variety of noise. This noise has a considerable impact on the tranquility of the area that is directly in contact with the highway. Therefore, setting the distance between the main school building and the highway must be taken into account, for the sake of realizing the comfort of the school students. The volume of motorcycles, the volume of private vehicles and public transportation has a significant effect on noise, from all the analysis calculations, the largest equation is obtained on the first day of the study, the third point (Sound Level Meter 3) a distance of 20.50m, with the calculation below, y = 54 .61 + 0.002x1 – 0.002x2 + 0.002x3 + 0.004x4. This equation means that if there is no decrease in the volume of the motorcycle, the noise level at SLM3 is 55.21 dBA. If there is an increase and decrease in the volume of the motorcycle it will have a significant effect on the noise. The second largest equation in the second day of research is at the second point (Sound Level Meter 2) a distance of 4.00m with an equation calculation of, y = 57.22 - 0.012x1 - 0.021x2 - 0.022x3 - 0.014x4. The meaning of the above equation is that if there is an increase in the volume of the motorcycle, the noise in SLM2 is 57.22dBA. From the results obtained, there was a reduction in the number of motorbikes during the Covid-19 pandemic, because students who were studying did not come to school. The reduction in the number of motorbikes crossing the SMA Taruna Terpadu Boash reached 52%.

Abstract

Analysis of the Level of Road Damage Using the Surface Distress Index Method and Evaluation and Handling of Cracked Roads (Case Study: Jalan Ciherang Cutak-Jalan Suka Mulya, Ciomas District, Bogor Regency. The existence of roads is very necessary to support the rate of agricultural and other economic growth, considering the important benefits So the road construction and maintenance sector is a priority for research and development in planning, implementation and maintenance. The road sections experienced damage which includes several factors such as road sections that are frequently used, poor drainage channels. The aim of this research is to determine the type of damage, evaluate and handle damage to road sections, as well as obtain damage values on Jalan Ciherang Cutak-Jalan Suka Mulya, Ciomas District, Bogor Regency based on the parameters of the Surface Distress Index (SDI) method. The length of the road used in this research is ± 1000m which is divided into 10 segments with The length of each road is ± 100m. In this research the author used the Surface Distress Index (SDI) method and used data on damage dimensions including length, width and depth of damage. Based on the results obtained, there are 4 types of damage found on the Jalan Ciherang Cutak-Jalan Suka Mulya section, Ciomas District, Bogor Regency, namely: pavement edge defects, potholes, alligator cracks, longitudinal cracks and the results of the percentage of SDI values in the average damage. The average is 34, which states that the Jalan Ciherang Cutak-Jalan Suka Mulya section, Ciomas District, Bogor Regency is in good condition, and there is an evaluation and handling of SDI values on the Ciherang Cutak-Jalan Suka Mulya road, the road is in segments 1-4,8-10 with good condition. while 5 and 7 are in moderate condition, but in segment 7 there is a high damage area value, namely 12.2%, so that widespread cracks do not occur, routine and periodic maintenance is needed along the Ciherang Cutak Suka Mulya road so that the damage does not spread.
