Abstract

Pemberian informasi obat memiliki peranan penting dalam memperbaiki kualitas hidup dari pasien dan menyediakan pelayanan yang bermutu bagi pasien sehingga menurunkan ketidakpatuhan pasien. Kelengkapan pelayanan informasi obat pada pasien sangatlah berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pasien, kepuasan pasien dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa hal diantaranya adalah pemberian informasi yang baik, keramahan tenaga kefarmasian, kecepatan pelayanan, ketersediaan obat, kebersihan ruang tunggu, serta ketersediaan media sebagai informasi obat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pelayanan informasi obat, Tingkat kepuasan pasien, dan hubungan pelayanan informasi obat terhadap kepuasan pasien rawat jalan di Instalasi Farmasi Rumah Sakit Ibu dan Anak Restu Bunda Teluk Betung Tahun 2025. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik dengan metode pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah pasien rawat jalan di RSIA Restu Bunda Teluk Betung Tahun 2025. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 110 pasien. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner. Analisis data menggunakan uji non-parametrik chi square untuk mengetahui hubungan antar variable. Hasil penelitian pelayanan informasi obat yang diberikan dengan kategori baik sebanyak 89 pasien (80,9%), Tingkat kepuasan pasien tergolong pasien merasa puas sebanyak 88 pasien (80%) Dan didapatkan hasil korelasi pearson signifikansi sebesar 0,021 (p 0,05). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut terdapat hubungan pelayanan informasi obat dengan kepuasan pasien di Instalasi Farmasi Rumah Sakit Ibu Dan Anak Restu Bunda Teluk Betung Tahun 2025.

Abstract

A low level of self-efficacy can hinder motivation, decision-making, and goal achievement. Therefore, it is important to know and understand the level of self-efficacy as a foundation in the efforts to improve personal quality and individual independence. The global prevalence of hypertension is 22% of the total population in the world. The purpose of the study is to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and adherence to antihypertensive medication in outpatient patients at Pringsewu Regional General Hospital. The design used in this study is a quantitative research type with a cross-sectional research design. The population in this study amounted to 245 respondents and a sample of 152 people using a purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed using the chi square test, the time of the study was conducted on May 7-27, 2025 at Pringsewu Hospital. The results of the univariate analysis on the age frequency distribution showed that the majority were >35 years old, totaling 144 respondents (94.7%), with male respondents numbering 79 (52%), education level from elementary to junior high school totaling 79 respondents (52%), low self-efficacy among 90 respondents (59.2%), and low medication adherence among 84 respondents (55.3%). The results of the bivariate analysis using chi-square showed a p-value of (0.000 < 0.05). The conclusion is that there is a relationship between self-efficacy and adherence to antihypertensive medication among outpatient patients at RSUD Pringsewu. It is recommended that hypertension patients regularly visit healthcare services for blood pressure monitoring and to consistently take their medication.

Abstract

One major issue in worldwide public health is hypertension. The third-highest rate of hypertension in Ambarawa District is seen in Kresnomulyo Village. In addition to making patients' conditions worse, noncompliance with antihypertensive treatment can result in problems such as heart enlargement, stroke, and kidney failure. Patients' quality of life is affected by their compliance with antihypertensive treatment, which includes both medication and lifestyle changes. The research objective was to analyze the correlation between compliance with antihypertensive medication use and the quality of life of patients at the Kresnomulyo Public Health Center. This research is a non-experimental quantitative analytical study. Data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 146 respondents. Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test. The results showed that 69% of respondents were non-compliant with their medication regimen, while 31% were compliant. Regarding quality of life, 20% of respondents reported no problems, 22% reported mild problems, 24% moderate, 19% severe, and 15% very severe. In conclusion, there is a significant correlation between the level of compliance to antihypertensive medication use and the quality of life of elderly hypertensive patients at the Kresnomulyo Public Health Center, Pringsewu, with a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.05).
