Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of work stress, work conflict, and organizational commitment on employee performance at the Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) of North Sumatra Province. The research approach used was quantitative with a descriptive quantitative research design involving numerical data and statistical analysis using SPSS Version 26. The study population consisted of all civil servants working at the Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) of North Sumatra Province, totaling 181 employees. The sampling technique employed was probability sampling using random sampling with the Slovin formula, with a margin of error of 10%, resulting in a sample size of 64 employees. The results of this study indicate that work stress has a positive and significant partial effect on employee performance with a tvalue > ttable (31.613 > 2.00030) and work conflict has a positive and significant partial effect on employee performance with a tvalue > ttable (19.004 > 2.00030), and organizational commitment has a positive and significant partial effect on employee performance with a tvalue > ttable (12.048 > 2.00030). Simultaneously, work stress, work conflict, and organizational commitment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) of North Sumatra Province, with the calculated Fvalue > Ftable (1224.415 > 2.76). The results of this study indicate that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected, both partially and simultaneously. The coefficient of determination obtained is 98.3%, with the remaining 1.7% explained by other independent variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

The research analysis aims to determine the influence of work communication and job satisfaction on teacher performance at SMA Negeri 1 Kutambaru, Langkat Regency. The research approach used is a quantitative associative approach. This study employed multiple linear regression analysis with a sample of 30 respondents. Primary data collection used a questionnaire. The results of the study indicate that the work communication variable has a t count of 4.358 and a t table of 2.051831, so t count > t table (4.358 > 2.051831) with sig. 0.000 < 0.05 so that the results of the study accept H1. It can be explained that the work communication variable (X1) influences the teacher performance variable (Y). The job satisfaction variable has a t count of 4.274 and a t table of 2.051831, so t count > t table (4.274 > 2.051831) with sig. 0.000 < 0.05 so that the results of the study accept H2. It can be explained that the job satisfaction variable (X2) influences teacher performance (Y). The results of this study indicate that the f count value = 15.196 > f table 3.35 with sig. 0.000 < 0.05. So it can be concluded that H3 is accepted. Where the work communication variables (X1) and job satisfaction (X2) simultaneously have a positive influence.

Abstract

This study was designed to explore how personal attributes, job characteristics, and organizational features shape employee job satisfaction at PT Telkom Regional 1 Sumatera. It adopted a descriptive quantitative design rooted in the positivist perspective to clarify relationships among variables objectively. From a population of 227 employees, 69 respondents were selected through probability sampling using a simple random technique, giving all members equal chances. The research relied on quantitative information gathered from primary and secondary sources. Data were collected through field observation, questionnaires, and relevant literature review. The analysis employed multiple linear regression to test partial and simultaneous effects. Results indicate that individual, job, and organizational factors each have a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction. Taken together, they also show meaningful effects. These findings confirm that satisfaction is shaped by internal conditions, task design, and organizational support working together. This evidence offers practical guidance for improving workplace policies.
