Abstract

The aim of the study was to describe the creativity profile of students of the Applied Undergraduate Study Program of Medical Laboratory Technology, Health Polytechnic, Ministry of Health, Mataram. The research method used is descriptive research. Data was collected through a questionnaire made using the Google form and then distributed to research respondents totaling 52 students. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis using the percentage of each indicator. The results showed that students' critical thinking skills were low on indicators of providing further explanations and drawing conclusions, and creative thinking skills were low for students to think fluently and originally.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Make a Match learning model assisted by Wordwall media in improving the activeness and learning outcomes of second-grade students at SDN 44 Mataram. The research employed a quantitative approach using a classroom action research (CAR) design based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles. The subjects consisted of 17 students. Data collection techniques included observation to measure student activeness, learning achievement tests to assess improvement in understanding, and documentation as supporting data. The results showed that the implementation of the Make a Match model assisted by Wordwall significantly increased students’ learning activeness. In the first cycle, student participation was categorized as moderate, but after improvements in the second cycle, participation increased notably. This enhancement also had a positive impact on learning outcomes, as the students’ average scores rose from 65 in the first cycle to 85 in the second cycle. Therefore, the Make a Match model assisted by Wordwall proved effective in creating an interactive and enjoyable learning atmosphere, while improving both student activeness and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN 44 Mataram in the subject of Pancasila Education through the implementation of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed an increase in the students’ average scores from the pre-cycle to Cycle II. In Cycle I, the average score increased from 62.8 to 74.6 with a classical mastery level of 65%. In Cycle II, the average score reached 85.2 with a classical mastery level of 90%. The TGT learning model proved effective in enhancing student engagement, strengthening material understanding, and fostering a competitive and cooperative learning spirit. Therefore, TGT can be considered a relevant strategy to improve learning outcomes in Pancasila Education at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze science process skills (SPS) and scientific reasoning (SR) among high school students and prospective teachers. This study used a quantitative descriptive approach with a survey method involving a self-report perception questionnaire to collect data from eleventh and twelfth grade science students and 187 prospective teachers majoring in Physics Education. The results showed that Science learning in high school and pre-service teachers has begun to integrate science process skills (SPS) and scientific reasoning (SR), but its implementation is inconsistent and practicums are still less intensive, so that SPS strengthening is not optimal. Obstacles that arise include limited practicums and facilities, the dominance of theoretical learning, difficulty understanding abstract concepts, and low systematic thinking habits and confidence in scientific argumentation. On the other hand, students and pre-service teachers hope that science learning is more based on interesting and contextual practicums, relevant to everyday life, utilizing technology, and designed collaboratively and adaptively so that SPS and SR can develop simultaneously and be ready to face the challenges of the 21st century.
