Reading the Qur'an requires an interesting method. The background of this research is the phenomenon in the field that many students in class X-1, X-2, X-3 of SMA Negeri 4 Bogor City have not been able to read the Qur'an properly and correctly according to the applicable rules of tajwid science. Therefore, there is a method that can improve the ability to read the Qur'an, namely the Iqra' method. The main focus of this study is the implementation of the Iqra' method in class X-1, X-2, X-3 of SMA Negeri 4 Bogor City with the aim of knowing the implementation of the Iqra' Method in class X-1, X-2, X-3, to Understand the Ability to Read the Qur'an of Class X-1, X-2, X-3 Students at SMA NEGERI 4 can be improved with the Implementation of the Iqra' Method, to Explore the supporting factors and inhibiting factors of Students X-1, X-2, X-3 of SMA Negeri 4 Bogor City in reading the Qur'an. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach through interview, observation and documentation data collection techniques. By using data reduction analysis, data presentation and conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Iqra' method in class X-1, X-2, X-3 at SMA NEGERI 4 KOTA BOGOR runs with 5 stages: opening, apperception, practice, evaluation and closing. The process of learning the Qur'an is carried out by implementing the Iqra' Method and is heard directly by the teacher. The session lasts for 60 minutes every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday after school. Based on the results of the study at SMA Negeri 4 Kota Bogor, it shows an increase in the ability to read the Qur'an in class X students. In class X-1 consisting of 35 students (6 non-Muslims), 9 participants experienced an increase in makhraj, tajwid, and an increase in iqra' from 6 to juz 1, and 15 fluent participants also experienced an increase. However, 5 participants did not make progress. In class X-2 with 34 students (5 non-Muslims), 16 participants experienced an increase in makhraj, tajwid, and the increase in iqra' 1-5 to iqra' 6. While 12 participants were fluent in showing an increase in the implementation of tajwid and 1 student did not experience any change. In class X-3 consisting of 35 students (6 non-Muslims), 13 participants experienced an increase in makhraj and tajwid, and 14 participants were fluent in going up from iqra' 6 to juz 1, while 2 participants did not experience any progress. The increase in the ability to read the Qur'an has gone through the process of learning tajwid and makhrajul huruf with the practice of the Iqra' method. The success of the Iqra' method is supported by facilities, adequate learning resources, teacher support, student learning motivation, and supported by external motivation from parents. The obstacle to the Iqra' method in reading the Qur'an is the lack of motivation to learn to read the Qur'an from students.
