Abstract

Three-wheeled motor vehicles are widely used for small-scale transportation, especially in rural and urban areas. However, users often lack awareness of proper maintenance, particularly in undercarriage components like braking systems and tires, which are critical for safety. This training, held at the University of Muhammadiyah Jember, aimed to improve students’ understanding and skills in maintaining these components. The methods included theoretical instruction, hands-on practice, and post-training evaluation. Results showed increased participant comprehension and engagement, although initial knowledge levels varied. The activity demonstrated that basic technical education can significantly improve awareness and competence in vehicle maintenance. It is expected that participants can apply this knowledge in their daily lives and promote better maintenance practices within their communities

Abstract

Mesin pemipil jagung menggunakan motor listrik sebagai penggerak utamanya dan panel surya yang terhubung dengan baterai sebagai sumber energi utamanya dan PLN sebagai sumber energi cadangan. Dengan adanya mesin ini diharapkan mampu meringankan beban petani jagung dalam proses pemipilan yang tadinya masih menggunakan tenaga manual bahkan menggunakan mesin besar dengan biaya yang relatif mahal. Tujuan perencanaan mesin pemipil jagung tenaga panel surya yaitu untuk mengetahui cara membangun alat pemipil jagung menggunakan teknologi panel surya dan untuk mengetahui berapa kapasitas produksi yang dihasilkan mesin pemipil jagung dalam waktu 1 menit. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian sebanyak 5 kali.Nilai rata-rata kapasitas mesin dalam memipil jagung sebesar 760,6 gram/menit.
