Abstract

This study aims to explain how the Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy counseling approach can be used to improve students' learning motivation. The method used in this study is literature review by examining various relevant sources. The analysis technique applied is descriptive analysis of the theory and practice of REBT in the educational context. The results show that this approach helps students recognize and replace irrational beliefs that hinder the learning process with more rational and constructive beliefs. Through the ABCDEF technique, students can understand the relationship between events, beliefs, and emotional consequences, and develop healthier and more logical thinking patterns. The recommendation from this study is that guidance and counseling teachers implement the REBT approach as an effective service strategy to help students enhance their learning motivation and achieve emotional balance. Abstract

Background :The choice of place of delivery is one of the important decisions in the birth process, which is influenced by various factors, including culture and education level. This decision can have a direct impact on the safety of the mother and child, as well as comfort during the labor process.. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the choice of health services for mothers giving birth in the Rokan IV Koto II Health Center Work Area. This study examines the relationship between birth attendants, maternal knowledge, family income, and culture with the choice of place of delivery (Health Facilities or Non-Health Facilities). Method: The research design used was analytical with a cross-sectional approach, which was conducted on 75 respondents of mothers giving birth in the Rokan IV Koto II Health Center Work Area. Results: The study’s of the univariate analysis showed that the majority of respondents chose to give birth at Non-Health Facilities (64%), had less knowledge (74.7%), income below the minimum wage (69.3%), and some were influenced by culture (46.7%). The chi-square test showed that there was no significant relationship between knowledge (p=0.937) and income (p=0.448) with the choice of place of delivery. On the other hand, there was a significant relationship between culture and the choice of place of delivery (p=0.000), with an Odds Ratio of 0.064 indicating that mothers who were not bound by culture had a greater chance of choosing a health facility. Conclusion : Culture significantly influences the choice of delivery place, while knowledge and income do not. Mothers not bound by cultural beliefs are more likely to choose health facilities for childbirth.

Abstract

There are three nutritional problems for adolescents in Indonesia, namely malnutrition (stunting), micronutrient deficiencies that cause anemia, and overweight (obesity). Overweight is a condition in which a person's weight exceeds normal, while obesity is a condition of excess body fat accumulation, so that a person's weight is far above normal and can endanger health. Overweight and obesity occur due to an imbalance between incoming and outgoing energy, resulting in an increase in the ratio of fat and lean body tissue which is localized or evenly distributed throughout the body. Another problem is micronutrients, one of which is iron deficiency which is called anemia. Based on the results of the data, there will be 100 young women in Kepenuhan Hulu Village in 2023. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nutritional status and the incidence of anemia in young women in Kepenuhan Hulu Village. This research methodology uses a cross sectional design. The population in this study amounted to 100 young women and the sample in the study was 80 young women who were in the Kepenuhan Hulu Village. The sample selection technique uses Simple Random Sampling. The average distribution of BMI for young women is 26.08 with an SD of 7.75. Data were analyzed using the T-Independent test to determine whether there was a relationship between nutritional status and the incidence of anemia. The results showed that there was a relationship between nutritional status and the incidence of anemia in young women with a p-value (Sig) of 0.000, which means that the p-value was <0.05. So it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between nutritional status and the incidence of anemia. Suggestions need to be carried out in collaboration between schools, health centers, health agencies by carrying out health promotion about the importance of maintaining nutritional status and the dangers of anemia in young women
