Abstract

This community service activity focuses on educating about the prevention of bullying at SD Negeri 4 Ped, Nusa Penida, an inland area with limited access to information regarding the issue of bullying. A descriptive qualitative method with a literature study was used to gain an in-depth understanding of the experiences and perspectives of students, teachers, and school staff related to bullying. This service activity involved 30 fifth and sixth-grade students, using lecture, discussion, and engaging short film screening methods. The result of this service was an increase in students' enthusiasm, courage, and self-confidence, measured by their active participation in the popcorn feedback session. This activity successfully instilled awareness and readiness in students to resist and prevent all forms of bullying.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the literacy and numeracy understanding of students at SMP NU Sunan Giri Kepanjen through the Literacy and Numeracy Festival “Kartini Edufest”. This program integrates a descriptive qualitative approach in the analysis of literature and field data. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the activity showed an increase in student enthusiasm and participation in literacy and numeracy activities. This festival also succeeded in fostering students' entrepreneurial spirit and creativity. Although there was an increase in students' literacy and numeracy skills, there were several factors that influenced the optimization of the results. This community service activity made a positive contribution in developing student competencies and is expected to be a model for similar activities in the future.
