Abstract

Gross motor development is one of the crucial elements in the growth and development of elementary school children. One type of physical activity that can support this progress is the forward roll movement in floor gymnastics. This study aims to understand the role of forward roll training in improving students' gross motor skills in elementary schools. The method used is qualitative research with a case study approach, involving two physical education teachers at an elementary school in Sumedang Regency. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The research findings indicate that forward roll movements are very effective in improving large muscle strength (core, arms, legs), body coordination, and balance. Teachers apply gradual and flexible strategies according to students' physical abilities, and combine character and cross-disciplinary values in the learning process. Indicators of successful gross motor development include improving movement techniques, courage to try, and enthusiasm in practicing. The main obstacles in forward roll training are students' fear and limited equipment, which are overcome by playing methods and using existing tools. These findings confirm the significance of optimizing forward roll training as a component in physical education teaching strategies in elementary schools.

Abstract

Based on Law Number 28 of 2014 concerning Copyright (UUHC), architectural works are protected creations and are entitled to moral and economic rights. This protection covers the physical building, plans, technical drawings, and building models. Depending on involvement in the creation process, the architect, service user, or both can have the creator status. However, architectural copyright protection is still not optimal, as marked by the low number of copyright registrations for architectural works. Factors such as minimal UUHC outreach, communal culture, and lack of clear rules regarding copyright infringement contribute to this situation. In addition to protection, this article discusses opportunities for commercializing architectural works through licensing. Licensing agreements, exclusive and non-exclusive, can be a way for Architects to maximize their economic rights by adapting architectural works to other media, such as books, fashion, or toys. This aims to encourage innovation and provide economic benefits for creators.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the operational efficiency and competitiveness of UMKM Tempoyak Mak Syalu through the implementation of the Electronic Point of Sales (E-POS) system for transaction digitalization and product rebranding via new packaging design and social media optimization. The activity was conducted over three days in July and continues to be implemented at UMKM Tempoyak Mak Syalu, Palembang, using methods such as training, technical assistance, and direct implementation of the E-POS system along with product packaging innovation. Evaluation was carried out through observation, interviews, and measurement of key performance indicators, including transaction input time, recording error rate, sales volume, and digital promotion effectiveness. The results show a significant improvement in efficiency, with transaction recording time reduced from an average of 10–15 minutes to 3–5 minutes per day (approximately 60% more efficient) and a 78% reduction in input errors. The E-POS system also facilitated stock management and automated financial reporting. On the marketing side, the introduction of new packaging and professional product photography enhanced brand clarity and consumer trust, leading to a 50% increase in monthly sales. This program demonstrates that transaction digitalization and product rebranding effectively strengthen the digital literacy of small business owners, improve operational efficiency, and expand market reach through more professional digital branding.
