Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of regional fiscal and monetary policies in supporting the development of Mangrove Ecotourism as part of a sustainable economy. The type of research used in this research is a qualitative approach with a library research method. This data collection technique uses the “literature study” technique or literature review research by attempting to review or observe data derived from journals, websites and other information media. Data analysis used content analysis techniques, which involved re-reading the literature to identify the main themes and categories that emerged from the literature. The result of this study is that government support is provided in the form of utilizing fiscal and monetary policies in order to support conservation efforts. Fiscal policy has an important role to play in maintaining mangrove biodiversity. Meanwhile, monetary policy is used to control the macroeconomic situation so that it can run as desired through regulating the amount of money circulating in the economy. These efforts are carried out in order to stabilize prices and inflation. To encourage local communities to support conservation efforts, fiscal incentives can be provided. Such as tax incentives for ecotourism income, reduction of local tax rates (hotel or restaurant) for ecotourism businesses, subsidies for the construction of homestays based on environmentally friendly materials. Meanwhile, in the long term, an incentive scheme can be launched in the form of a tax reduction on income obtained from reforestation. Abstract

The lack of knowledge about cleanliness and the function of reproductive organs inunderprivileged children in Berau Regency has become a concern for the Berau RegencyAmil Zakat Agency so that it holds counseling and reproductive health educationactivities for poor children in three sub-districts in Berau Regency. The purpose of thisactivity is to help improve reproductive health education for underprivileged children, sothat they can maintain their reproductive health and how to wash properly, at the sametime as free circumcision activities for poor children from the National Baznas of BerauRegency in collaboration with the Berau District Health Office and the UniversityMuhammadiyah Berau. The method in this activity uses the clean, discussion andparticipatory method. This activity took place in three sub-districts in Berau Regency,namely Gunung Tabur District, Derawan Island District and Maratua District. It will beheld on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, in Gunung Tabur District, and simultaneously onFriday, September 17, 2021, in Pulau Derawan and Maratua Districts. This activityinvolved the leadership and staff of the Berau Regency Baznas, the Medical Team, theUniversity of Muhammadiyah Berau Team with 150 children as participants.

Abstract

Artikel ini menganalisis Aksi Bersih Lingkungan 2026 bertema "Dari Jejak Pendaki Menuju Jejak Lestari" yang diinisiasi oleh Mapala Universitas Muhammadiyah Berau pada 19 Juni 2026 di kawasan bersejarah Keraton Sambaliung, tepian Sungai Kelay. Merespons rendahnya kesadaran kolektif terhadap ekosistem perairan, kegiatan ini mengadaptasi prinsip minim jejak ke ruang publik perkotaan. Menggunakan metode deskriptif-analitis, kajian ini mengevaluasi pelaksanaan aksi dalam kerangka teori kesadaran ekologis. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kolaborasi multipihak lintas sektor terbukti efektif menghadirkan pendidikan lingkungan yang holistik—menggabungkan pengetahuan, pengalaman, dan aksi nyata. Pemilihan lokasi bersejarah juga sukses mengintegrasikan narasi pelestarian alam dengan kebanggaan warisan budaya lokal. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif secara ekologis, edukatif, dan sosial-kelembagaan. Guna merespons tantangan keberlanjutan, artikel ini merekomendasikan edukasi masyarakat yang berkesinambungan, pemantauan dampak jangka panjang secara sistematis, serta replikasi program di sepanjang Sungai Kelay dan Segah untuk memperluas skala perilaku pro-lingkungan di Kabupaten Berau.
