Abstract

This community service was carried out because land issues are problems that often cause prolonged disputes in the dynamics of Indonesian society. The government's serious efforts to minimize or reduce land disputes are evidenced by the existence of a land case handling function at the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency which then issued policies related to the handling of land cases up to the latest amendment through the Regulation of the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency Number 21 of 2020 concerning the Handling and Settlement of Land Cases. The methods used were lectures and discussions. From the results of this community service, it can be stated that the community in Nendali Village has understood the process of handling land cases in relation to the cancellation of Land Title Certificates which can be done through judicial institutions and outside the courts that contain administrative and/or legal defects.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan judul Penerapan IPTEKS Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 18 Tahun 2021 Gunanya Memperoleh Kepastian Hukum Pada Masyarakat Di Kampung Asei Besar Distrik Sentani Timur Kabupaten Jayapura, kegiatan ini dilakukan kepada mitra dikarenakan adanya kasus dari mitra tentang ketidakpahaman cara pendaftaran tanah guna memperoleh kepastian hukum sehingga dengan keahlian yang dimiliki pengabdi dapat melakukan penerapan IPTEKS tersebut. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan cara penerapan IPTEKS melalui ceramah dan diskusi yang dilaksanakan pada hari sabtu, tanggal 29 November 2025 yang dilaksanakan di balai kampung Asei Besar dengan memberikan pengetahuan kepada mitra mengenai sistem pendaftaran hingga terbitnya sertifikat tanah menurut Undang-Undang Pokok Agraria (UUPA) dan Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 18 Tahun 2021 tentang Pendaftaran Tanah untuk memperoleh kepastian hukum. Adapun luaran dari pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pemahaman kepada mitra tentang Sistem Pendaftaran Tanah hingga terbitnya sertifikat hak milik atas tanah untuk menjamin kepastian hukum berdasarkan Undang-Undang Pokok Agraria Nomor 5 Tahun 1960 dan Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 18 Tahun 2021 Tentang Hak Pengelolaan, Hak Atas Tanah, Satuan Rumah Susun Dan Pendaftaran Tanah, dan juga memberikan pendampingan hukum kepada mitra untuk mendaftarkan tanahnya pada Badan Pertanahan Nasional (BPN).
