Abstract

Akses air bersih masih menjadi permasalahan utama di beberapa desa tertinggal di Indonesia, salah satunya adalah Dusun III Air Solok Desa Samban Jaya Kecamatan Batik Nau Bengkulu Utara. Desa yang berada di atas bukit ini masih mengalami kesulitan akses air bersih dikarenakan minimnya terbatasnya fasilitas air bersih. Sumber air bersih utama di dusun ini awalnya adalah beberapa sumur tampungan air hujan yang berlokasi beberapa ratus meter dari pemukiman warga dan 2 buah sumur bor air tanah yang diprakarsai oleh dana desa. Jarak tempuh yang sulit dan terjal, serta sumur bor air tanah yang tidak berfungsi dengan optimal menjadi juga permasalahan di dusun ini, ditambah lagi dengan minimnya pengetahuan masyarakat dalam pengelolaan fasilitas air bersih terkait jaringan perpipaan yang sampai ke rumah-rumah warga. Berdasarkan survei yang dilakukan tim PKM Prodi Teknik Sipil UNRAS ke Dusun III Air Solok, menyimpulkan bahwa dusun ini perlu dibantu dalam memberdayakan masyarakat untuk mengoptimalkan fasilitas air bersih yang sudah ada, sehingga pengelolaan bisa lebih tertata dengan baik. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan observasi lapangan dengan meninjau langsung permasalahan-permasalahan yang ada di desa yang terkait dengan akses dan ketersediaan air bersih. Metode yang dilakukan adalah melalui wawancara terstruktur terhadap warga desa dan perangkat pemerintah desa. Tahapan pelaksanaan kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah survei lapangan, mengidentifikasi potensi masalah, menentukan rencana solusi dan rencana tindakan, menentukan indikator keberhasilan, serta menentukan tujuan desa jangka panjang

Abstract

Indonesia sebagai negara kepulauan yang terletak pada pertemuan tiga lempeng tektonik utama menghadapi tantangan besar dalam pembangunan infrastruktur di daerah rawan gempa. Penelitian ini menganalisis kestabilan tanah dan daya dukung fondasi sebagai faktor krusial dalam perencanaan pembangunan infrastruktur yang tahan gempa. Kajian dilakukan melalui pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis data sekunder dari berbagai proyek infrastruktur di wilayah rawan gempa di Indonesia. Parameter yang dianalisis meliputi karakteristik tanah, kapasitas daya dukung, faktor keamanan, dan respons tanah terhadap beban gempa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman komprehensif terhadap sifat mekanik tanah, penerapan metode analisis yang tepat, dan pemilihan jenis fondasi yang sesuai sangat menentukan keberhasilan pembangunan infrastruktur di daerah rawan gempa. Analisis kestabilan menunjukkan bahwa fondasi dalam seperti tiang pancang dan bored pile lebih efektif menahan beban gempa dibandingkan fondasi dangkal pada tanah lunak. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penggunaan teknologi perbaikan tanah dan sistem fondasi hybrid untuk meningkatkan daya dukung tanah di zona seismik tinggi. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi penting bagi praktisi teknik sipil dalam merencanakan infrastruktur yang aman dan berkelanjutan di wilayah rawan bencana.

Abstract

This community service activity focuses on technical assistance for the planning and spatial arrangement of Al-Khair Mosque as a child-friendly and disability-inclusive mosque. The program was implemented using a participatory approach involving mosque managers and congregants to ensure relevance and sustainability. Field observations revealed several accessibility and safety limitations related to entrance access, circulation paths, ablution areas, and supporting facilities. Identification of user needs highlighted diverse requirements among children, elderly worshippers, and persons with physical and sensory disabilities. Participatory discussions with mosque administrators served as a platform to integrate empirical findings with local perspectives and management capacities. Based on these processes, inclusive technical recommendations were formulated, emphasizing accessibility, safety, comfort, and gradual implementation. The results demonstrate that participatory technical assistance strengthens managerial awareness, enhances design responsiveness, and supports inclusive religious participation. This program confirms that integrating user-based data, inclusive design principles, and local commitment is essential for transforming mosques into accessible and welcoming worship spaces for all community members

Abstract

The utilization of fly ash and bottom ash as alternative materials in construction has expanded in response to sustainability imperatives and increasing volumes of industrial by-products. This study consolidates and critically organizes existing scientific knowledge to clarify the relationships between material characteristics, mechanical performance, and sustainability considerations associated with fly ash and bottom ash. The analysis demonstrates that their mechanical behavior is highly dependent on physical–chemical properties, mixture design, and environmental context, indicating that performance cannot be generalized across applications. Although environmental benefits are frequently emphasized, sustainability is often framed in a simplified manner, with limited integration of life cycle impacts, social dimensions, and institutional constraints. The findings also reveal methodological inconsistencies and conceptual gaps that hinder knowledge transfer and practical implementation. By structuring dispersed evidence into a coherent analytical perspective, this study contributes to a clearer understanding of the conditions under which fly ash and bottom ash can be responsibly utilized. The outcomes provide a foundation for guiding future experimental development and supporting more informed decision-making in sustainable construction systems.

Abstract

Urban flooding represents a systemic risk emerging from the interaction between hydrological hazards, spatial transformation, and infrastructure vulnerability, demanding a management paradigm that transcends conventional engineering responses. This study develops a non-empirical conceptual framework for optimizing risk-based infrastructure management to strengthen urban flood resilience. The framework integrates infrastructure asset lifecycle management, disaster risk theory, and urban governance into a multilayer analytical model that explains causal relations among planning, implementation, maintenance, and adaptive capacity. A systematic literature synthesis and thematic-critical analysis were employed to construct stable conceptual propositions and evaluate internal coherence across disciplines. Findings indicate that preventive planning, adaptive asset management, institutional coordination, and participatory monitoring operate as interdependent mechanisms that reduce system fragility and enhance operational learning. The proposed model provides an analytical structure for evaluating infrastructure effectiveness without dependence on a single empirical context while preserving methodological rigor. This study contributes theoretically by linking risk governance with lifecycle infrastructure management and methodologically by offering a replicable conceptual synthesis for resilient urban systems.
