Abstract

This research is a systematic literature review that aims to examine the application of the Multiple Intelligences (MI)-based interest and talent education model in the context of formal education. Literature sources were obtained from Google Scholar, Scispace, Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), and Scopus databases with a publication range of 2015 to 2025. The results of the analysis show that the MI approach has great potential in creating an inclusive, personalised learning system that focuses on the holistic development of learners. MI is able to bridge the diversity of students' intelligence and interests so as to support the formation of a whole individual and the optimisation of their potential. However, the implementation of this model still faces significant obstacles, especially in the curriculum structure that is less flexible, the evaluation system that is still limited to cognitive aspects, low teacher readiness, and the lack of institutional support and collaborative culture. These findings indicate a gap between the theory and practice of implementing MI in formal education that needs attention for the development of more effective and inclusive education.

Abstract

Kreativitas merupakan kompetensi penting abad ke-21 yang perlu dikembangkan sejak pendidikan dasar, termasuk di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI). Salah satu upaya yang berperan strategis adalah melalui program seni dan kerajinan tangan yang mampu menstimulasi daya cipta, imajinasi, serta keterampilan praktis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam peran program seni dan kerajinan tangan dalam mendukung pengembangan kreativitas peserta didik di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian perpustakaan melalui desain integrative review. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa program seni memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap pengembangan kreativitas siswa, mencakup aspek kognitif, psikomotorik, dan afektif. Kegiatan seperti menggambar, menyusun kolase, dan merakit objek tiga dimensi terbukti mampu mendorong kemampuan berpikir kreatif, keterampilan memecahkan masalah, serta mengekspresikan diri secara bebas namun terarah. Selain itu, keterlibatan dalam aktivitas seni juga memperkuat kemampuan sosial, membangun rasa percaya diri, serta menumbuhkan keberanian dalam berekspresi. Demikian, pelaksanaan program ini masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, antara lain keterbatasan kompetensi pendidik, ketiadaan panduan pedagogis yang sistematis, serta minimnya sarana penunjang. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi yang komprehensif, seperti peningkatan kapasitas guru melalui pelatihan berkelanjutan, penyediaan media pembelajaran yang relevan, serta integrasi program seni secara terstruktur dalam kurikulum MI. Dengan langkah-langkah tersebut, seni dan kerajinan tangan dapat dioptimalkan sebagai sarana untuk menumbuhkan kreativitas siswa secara menyeluruh dan kontekstual sesuai dengan tuntutan pembelajaran abad ke-21.

Abstract

This study aims to offer a comprehensive overview of how Fiqh teachers' perceptions contribute to the implementation of this curriculum. It will also examine how these perceptions affect teaching and learning processes in the classroom and their impact on student outcomes. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected from primary and secondary sources. Data analysis uses an interactive cycle model, involving several steps from data collection to presentation and verification. The study reveals that Fiqh teachers' perceptions of the Merdeka Curriculum are generally positive but also identify several challenges. Teachers view the Merdeka Curriculum as a beneficial innovation in education, although they acknowledge that the transition from the 2013 Curriculum is not significantly different due to their interconnectedness. Teachers find that the new curriculum allows for greater flexibility in teaching, with a shift toward a student-centered approach. However, implementation faces challenges such as inadequate facilities, lack of readiness, and increased administrative burdens. Teachers report that while their role in the classroom has shifted to being facilitators and motivators, their administrative responsibilities have increased. There are also issues with the synergy between students, parents, teachers, and the school, affecting the effectiveness of the curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Differentiated Instruction training on improving the teaching competence of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers in diversity-based learning environments. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design involving experimental and control groups. The subjects consisted of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers who participated in a Differentiated Instruction training program. Data were collected through observation and questionnaire instruments measuring teachers’ pedagogical and professional competencies before and after the training. Data analysis was conducted using inferential statistical tests to identify significant differences between the two groups. The findings indicate that Differentiated Instruction training has a positive and significant effect on enhancing teachers’ teaching competence, particularly in designing adaptive learning, managing heterogeneous classrooms, and adjusting instructional strategies to meet individual student needs. These results confirm that differentiation-based training is an effective intervention for improving the quality of teaching practices in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. In conclusion, the systematic implementation of Differentiated Instruction training can serve as a strategic approach for teacher professional development and for improving the quality of Islamic primary education that is responsive to student diversity.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the process of internalising moral values through the teaching of Islamic Cultural History in primary schools, using a descriptive qualitative approach. The research was conducted in primary schools, involving teachers, pupils and headteachers as subjects selected through purposive sampling based on their relevance to the focus of the study. Data collection was carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, with the researcher serving as the primary instrument supported by research guidelines. Data validity was tested through triangulation of sources and methods as well as member checking, whilst data analysis was conducted using an interactive model encompassing data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research findings indicate that the process of internalising moral values has been relatively effective through the integration of values into lesson planning, the application of diverse methods, and teachers’ exemplary conduct in teaching practice. However, this effectiveness has not yet been fully optimised due to constraints on time allocation, the diversity of pupils’ characteristics, and the lack of optimal support from the family environment. Furthermore, a gap was identified between the ideal conditions and the reality of implementation, particularly regarding the development of learning models, the availability of adequate affective assessment tools, and the synergy between schools and families. Abstract

This study aims to analyse the integration of digital storytelling based on the value of religious moderation in the teaching of Islamic Culture Studies (SKI) at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. Literature sources were collected from Google Scholar, Scispace, DOAJ and Scopus databases, with publication criteria between 2016 and 2026. The results of the study show that digital storytelling significantly contributes to improving concept understanding, learning engagement, and experiential learning through the presentation of digital narrative-based material. Integrating values of religious moderation into SKI education plays a crucial role in fostering tolerance, empathy, and an inclusive religious character among students. This approach not only serves as a learning medium, but also as a pedagogical strategy that is relevant to the needs of Islamic education in the digital era. These findings emphasise the importance of contextual and value-based content design, enhancing teachers' digital competencies, and institutional support in optimally implementing digital storytelling in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah.
