Abstract

Milkfish (Chanos chanos) is a species of high economic value and one of the primary commodities in aquaculture. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of different doses of Probiotic-7 applied to the rearing medium on water quality and the growth performance of milkfish fingerlings. The experiment was conducted using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with five treatments and three replicates: P1 (control, without Probiotic-7), P2 (1 mL/L), P3 (2 mL/L), P4 (3 mL/L), and P5 (4 mL/L). The best absolute length and weight growth were observed in treatment P3, with a weight gain of 3.83 g. Treatment P3 also exhibited the highest specific growth rate (SGR) of 5.1% and the most efficient feed conversion ratio (FCR) of 1.21. The highest survival rates were recorded in treatments P2 and P3, reaching 97.77%. Throughout the rearing period, water quality parameters remained within optimal ranges: salinity 26–29 ppt, temperature 29–30°C, pH 7.6–7.8, dissolved oxygen (DO) 7–7.8 mg/L, and ammonia 0.03–0.18 mg/L. These findings indicate that administering Probiotic-7 at a dose of 2 mL/L effectively enhances the growth and survival of milkfish fingerlings while maintaining water quality within suitable limits for cultivation.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar IPS siswa SMP Negeri 1 Kepenuhan disebabkan oleh model pembelajaran konvensional (ceramah). Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPS Siswa Kelas VII Di SMP Negeri 1 Kepenuhan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen semu. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas VII yang berjumlah 126 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII.1 dan VII.2 yang berjumlah 42 siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa data nilai Pre-test dan post-test berdistribusi normal dan variansnya homogen. Rata-rata nilai pre-test kelas eksperimen adalah 38,41 dan kelas kontrol 38,68. Rata-rata nilai post-test kelas eksperimen 54,33 dan kelas kontrol 68,72. Hasil penelitian dihitung dengan menggunakan rumus t-test dengan hasil thitung > ???????????????????????? = 15,93 >2,021, yang artinya terdapat pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPS Siswa Kelas VII Di SMP Negeri 1 Kepenuhan. Saran dalam penelitian ini, bagi sekolah Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) dapat digunakan sebagai informasi yang berharga bagi sekolah, karena sekolah dapat melaksanakan model, metode pembelajaran dan strategi pembelajaran efektif yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.
