Abstract

Critical thinking skills need to be instilled in the learning process in junior high schools. In this case, a teaching method that can improve students' critical thinking skills, namely the problem based learning method, is needed. The purpose of this study was to examine whether problem based learning method was able to improve the critical thinking skill of students in junior high school in the subjects of Social Sciences. The research method is quantitative. The research instrument used a test at the beginning and end of learning. The data collecting technique used test. The data analysis of this study used a partial test. The results showed that the problem based learning method had an influence on the critical thinking skills of students with t table 3, 902 t count 1.669. Thus, there is an effect of the problem based learning method on the critical thinking skills of junior high school students.

Abstract

The low student achievement in social studies topics motivates this research. This is because the teacher's learning process still applies the conventional learning model. So academic performance in social studies topics is low. The Cooperative Script model is very appropriate to improve student achievement in learning process, as this model can encourage cooperation and student activity in mastering lessons to achieve maximum academic performance. The purpose of this study was to examine the efficacy of the script-cooperative learning model to improve social studies for SMP N students in Rokan Hulu Regency. This type of study is a two-group pretest posttest design research experiment. Population and sample were second-year students of SMP N 12 Tambusai Utara. Data collection method through written testing. Type of statistical analysis was using t-test. Results showed that the cooperative learning model of script is more effective than conventional learning model to improve student learning outcomes. This study focuses on the script cooperative learning model to improve student achievement in junior high school social studies subjects. The results of this study can be used as reference material for further research using different variables. Such as a cooperative script learning model to increase student learning activity.

Abstract

Elementary school is a medium used by the government to provide proper education for its people. With the existence of an elementary school, the community through education with various kinds of subjects that can be used as a basis so that the Indonesian nation can develop in the future with 6 years of compulsory education and 9 years of compulsory education Indonesia is good enough and illiteracy has begun to be eliminated by the existence of compulsory education, therefore a good education is education that can cover all corners of Indonesia and can be felt by all Indonesian people so that the Indonesian nation can become an advanced nation with education as the spearhead from Indonesia. Quantitative research is the method used in this study by emphasizing survey tools conducted to 100 people who were randomly selected in order to get very accurate data and real data in the field. Therefore, by using this method, the research can be continued so that it can find answers of the research problem raised. The variables studied in schools during the pandemic are online learning systems, offline learning systems and many more variables studied by researchers so they can find out which variables can affect the teaching and learning system in Indonesia, especially in the teaching and learning system in Indonesia. Elementary schools with these variables will be able to develop which things are good and which things are bad can be reduced. In this study will produce a data that has been processed on a system that uses SPSS tools. Therefore, with the processing of these data, it can be seen which variables affect elementary schools.

Abstract

This research is based on cultural issues. The aims of this research are (1) How to describe the preservation of cultural values ​​in Kuda Lumping art in North Tambusai District. This research is a qualitative research with ethnographic method. The sampling technique in this research is using a proposive sampling technique-nonprobalistic. Data analysis techniques used in this research are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that in Kuda Lumping art there are cultural values ​​that can be used as guidelines and references in people's lives including religious values, mutual cooperation values, responsibility values, unity values, ethical values, solidarity values ​​(togetherness), and aesthetic values. (beauty).

Abstract

Indonesia is a developing country where the majority of the population is very much using motorized vehicles, especially vocational students who drive motorized vehicles improperly run red lights, operate cell phones, design their motorbikes that are not in accordance with factory standards and even do not equip themselves with a driving license (This SIM has an impact on traffic law awareness of Zaidar Yahya Vocational School students. So the aim of the study was to determine the level of Traffic Law Awareness of Zaidar Yahya Vocational School Students. While the research method used descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection techniques used observation, interview and documentation techniques. This study shows that the level of traffic law awareness among students of SMK Zaidar Yahya is quite good. This is proven that among these students are only afraid of sanctions when raiding motorized vehicles, do not have a driving license (S IM), and do not use helmets, mirrors etc. Therefore, there is a lack of legal awareness of students in traffic, even though knowledge about traffic has been given, there are still students who commit traffic violations and are not aware of safety and security in driving.

Abstract

Sejarah dan kebudayaan lokal perlu diajarkan kepada generasi muda di setiap daerah agar sejarah dan kebudayaan lokal tidak hilang ditelan kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi dan masuknya budaya asing ke indonesia, sebab sejarah dan budaya merupak ciri khas negara Indonesia yang terdiri dari berbagai macam suku dan budaya yang memiliki keunikan sendiri-sendiri, kebudayaan Indonesia berasal dari kebudayaan daerah dan kebudayaan local masing-masing provinsi di Indonesia. Daerah Rokan Hulu, Provinsi Riau, memiliki multi kultural yang terdiri dari berbagai macam suku, namun di dominasi oleh suku melayu yang merupakan suku asli di provinsi Riau. Dan juga rokan hulu memiliki banyak situs sejarah yang belum banyak diketahui baik oleh masyarakat rokan hulu.untuk itu dilakukan pengabdian masyarakat tentang pelestarian sejarah dan kebudayaan melayu bagi mahasiswa pendidikan IPS, fakultas keguruan dan ilmu pendidikan, universitas pasir pengaraian.

Abstract

Cyberbullying telah terjadi dikalangan siswa, cyberbullying merupakan bentuk tindakan dari penggunaan internet yang tidak sehat dikalangan siswa, siswa telah menggunakan media sosial online untuk mengintimidasi sesama mereka, hal ini menimbulkan dampak negatif ditengan perkembangan remaja sekolah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perilaku cyberbullying yang ada di SMA N 1 Kepenuhan. Metode yang peneliti gunakan ialah deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan responden sebanyak 150 orang responden. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa pernah melakukan tindakan cyberbullying dengan rekan sejawatnya, indikator cyberbullying yang kerap dilakukan yaitu Flaming throug email dan Deleting Or Blocking Others From Cyber Groups. Data ini diharapkan dapat menajadi dasar bagi pendidik dan stekholder untuk dapat memberikan wawasan kepada siswa terutama tentang penggunaan media sosial online yang baik dikalangan siswa.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan (1) nilai-nilai tradisi pada kesenian Kuda Lumping Turonggo Seto di Desa Pasir Maju dan (2) upaya masyarakat dalam melestarikan kesenian Kuda Lumping Turonggo Seto di Desa Pasir Maju. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode etnografi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat yang mengetahui seluk beluk kesenian Kuda Lumping Turonggo Seto, masyarakat yang mampu memandu jalannya pertunjukan kesenian Kuda Lumping, serta masyarakat yang mengetahui keberadaan kesenian Kuda Lumping Turonggo Seto. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu teknik proposive sampling-nonprobalistic. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu 1) terdapat nilai-nilai tradisi yang dapat dijadikan sebagai pedoman dan acuan dalam kehidupan masyarakat meliputi nilai religi, nilai gotong royong, nilai tanggungjawab, nilai persatuan, nilai etika, nilai solidaritas, dan nilai estetika, 2) Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk menjaga kelestarian kesenian Kuda Lumping Turonggo Seto adalah adanya dukungan dari orang tua, masyarakat, dan anggota, dukungan dari lembaga pendidikan, pembinaan dari pemerintah, melakukan berbagai inovasi, mengajarkan ke generasi muda, dan melakukan latihan dan pertemuan rutin.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 ini, SMK Swasta Mandiri mulai menerapkan kurikulum merdeka dengan pilihan mandiri berubah di kelas X. Dengan demikian guru-guru yang adadi SMK ini mulai menyusun modul ajar sebagai perangkat pembelajaran. Penelitian iniadalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan di SMK Swasta Mandiri Labuhan BatuSumatera Utara pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2022/ 2023, pada bulan November2022 Tahun Pelajaran 2022/ 2023. Hasil pada penelitian ini adalah setelah melaksanakanpenelitian tindakan kelas dengan menerapkan model Project based Learningterhadap siswa kela XII (Duabelas) pada pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila, maka adabeberapa hal yang dapat disimpulkan, antara lain: 1) Model Project based Learningdapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa Kelas XII pada pelajaran PendidikanPancasila di SMK Swasta Mandiri. 2) Pelaksanaan penelitian telah memenuhikriteria keberhasilan pada pelaksanaan siklus II, yang ditandai dengan peningkatannilai aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, dan nilai rata-rata siswa pada ulangan harianyang meningkat dari 68 menjadi 75,7. 3) Penerapan model pembelajaran Projectbased Learning memotivasi dan menggali kreatifitas siswa dalam menyelesaikantugas yang diberikan guru.
