<![CDATA[Old age is the phase of life that reaches the end of the human cycle in the world. One of the challenges faced by the elderly is a decrease in the function of the cardiovascular system, including hypertension problems. If not treated seriously, hypertension in the elderly can result in various complications such as heart attacks, coronary heart disease, kidney failure and stroke. Hypertension sufferers need family support to comply with taking antihypertensive medication. This study aims to determine the effect of family support on medication adherence in elderly patients with hypertension. This research was conducted on all elderly hypertensive patients with or without complications who were undergoing hypertension therapy at the Babat Community Health Center in the period December-January 2024. This research method used Cross-Sectional, samples were taken using the Purposive Sampling method. Data were analyzed using the Chi Square test. The research results show that the Asymp Sig. (2 tailed) obtained is 0.00, this proves that family support influences the level of compliance of elderly patients in taking medication for hypertension. Keywords: Family support, Hypertension, Compliance with taking medication Abstrak Usia lanjut adalah fase kehidupan yang mencapai akhir siklus manusia di dunia. Salah satu tantangan yang dihadapi oleh lansia adalah penurunan fungsi sistem kardiovaskular, termasuk masalah hipertensi. Jika tidak ditangani dengan serius, hipertensi pada lansia dapat mengakibatkan berbagai macam komplikasi seperti penyakit serangan jantung, jantung koroner, gagal ginjal, dan stroke. Penderita hipertensi membutuhkan dukungan keluarga agar patuh dalam minum obat antihpertensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dukungan keluarga terhadap kepatuhan minum obat pada pasien lansia dengan hipertensi. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap seluruh pasien lansia hipertensi dengan atau tanpa komplikasi yang sedang menjalani terapi hipertensi di Puskesmas Babat pada periode bulan Desember-Januari tahun 2024. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Cross-Sectional, sampel diambil menggunakan metode Purposive Sampling. Data dianalisis dengan uji Chi Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai Asymp Sig. (2 tailed) yang didapatkan yaitu 0,00, ini membuktikan bahwa dukungan keluarga memengaruhi tingkat kepatuhan pasien lansia dalam mengonsumsi obat untuk hipertensi.
