Abstract

Technological advancement in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution demands that the younger generation acquire 21st-century skills, particularly in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). However, technological literacy at the junior high school level, especially in rural areas such as Jatiagung District, remains relatively low. This community service program aims to introduce basic robotics to junior high school students as an effort to foster interest and creativity in the STEM field. The program was implemented in six schools with a total of 120 participants, using lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on project-based activities. The results of pre-test and post-test assessments showed an average increase of 62.1% in students' knowledge. Additionally, students demonstrated high enthusiasm, strong teamwork skills, and successfully created simple and creative robotic projects. The involvement of teachers in this activity also supported the sustainability of the program at the partner schools. Robotics education has proven to be an effective approach for enhancing students’ technological literacy and supporting the development of education that is relevant to the challenges of the digital era.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of digital TV broadcasts on people's viewing behavior in Bandar Lampung City. Along with technological developments, the transition from analog television broadcasts to digital television broadcasts has occurred in many areas, including the city of Bandar Lampung. Understanding how these shifts affect people's viewing behavior is important to inform decision making and the development of future television broadcast strategies. Research reveals several challenges faced by society in adapting to digital TV broadcasts. These challenges include changing viewing habits, the need to acquire digital TV reception equipment, and accessibility gaps related to geography and infrastructure. This research provides an important contribution in understanding the impact of digital TV broadcasts on the viewing behavior of the people of Bandar Lampung City. The results of this research can be a valuable source of information for television broadcast organizers in developing relevant content strategies and improving people's viewing experience. Apart from that, these findings can also provide input to local governments in efforts to increase accessibility and support community adaptation to the transition to digital TV broadcasts.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh terbatasnya kemampuan pelaku UMKM gula merah di Pulau Sebesi dalam memanfaatkan teknologi pemasaran modern. Selama ini pemasaran produk gula merah masih mengandalkan sistem tradisional dengan penjualan langsung kepada pengepul atau wisatawan, sehingga akses pasar dan harga jual terbatas. Program ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas pelaku UMKM melalui penguatan literasi digital, pemanfaatan digital marketing, dan e-commerce agar produk gula merah dapat menjangkau pasar yang lebih luas dan meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pendidikan masyarakat melalui sosialisasi dan penyuluhan, pelatihan teknis pembuatan akun media sosial dan toko daring, difusi ipteks berupa pengenalan sistem pembayaran digital dan metode pengiriman efisien, serta pendampingan dalam pengemasan dan branding produk. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan peserta dalam mengoperasikan platform digital, mengunggah foto produk secara profesional, serta mengaktifkan fitur pembayaran daring di toko masing-masing. Beberapa pelaku UMKM mulai menerima pesanan dari luar Pulau Sebesi setelah dua minggu pelatihan. Dampak sosial juga terlihat dari terbentuknya jejaring kerja sama antar pelaku UMKM untuk saling berbagi pengalaman dan tips promosi. Program ini membuktikan bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan e-commerce merupakan solusi nyata untuk meningkatkan daya saing produk lokal di pasar yang lebih luas serta mendorong keberlanjutan usaha masyarakat.pada pencapaian SDGs 4 (Pendidikan Berkualitas) dan SDGs 9 (Industri, Inovasi, dan Infrastruktur).
