The purpose of this research is to analyze the Islamic counseling methods used and to identify the factors underlying the deviant behavior of juveniles fostered at LPKA. This study employs a case study method. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The analysis was conducted using data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing, while data validation was carried out through triangulation. The results show that Islamic counseling methods in the form of lectures, group and individual Islamic guidance and counseling, as well as the “Lentera Tego Ngaji” program, have proven effective in increasing juveniles’ awareness of deviant behavior and building closeness to Allah. The factors contributing to deviance include internal factors (self-control, motivation, and innate personality traits of juveniles) and external factors (family environment, peer validation, media, and economic conditions). The obstacles encountered in counseling are limited counseling time and scheduling conflicts with LPKA daily activities. The findings highlight the importance of integrating moral and religious education for juveniles at LPKA and the need for policy support, adequate facilities, and continuous mentoring. ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis metode konseling Islam yang digunakan serta mengetahui faktor yang melatar belakangi penyimpangan remaja binaan LPKA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui metode wawancara, observasi serta dokumentasi. Analisis dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan, dan validasi data dengan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode konseling Islam berupa ceramah, bimbingan dan konseling Islam berkekompok maupun individu serta program “Lentera Tego Ngaji” terbukti efektif meningkatkan kesadaran remaja terhadap perilaku menyimpang dan membangun kedekatan dengan Allah. Faktor penyimpangan yang didapati diantaranya mencakup faktor internal (kontrol diri, motivasi serta kepribadian bawaan remaja) dan faktor eksternal (lingkungan keluarga, validasi lingkungan pergaulan, media dan ekonomi). Kendala yang dihadapi dalam bimbingan adalah keterbatasan waktu konseling dan benturan jadwal kegiatan harian LPKA. Hasil penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya integrasi pendidikan moral dan agama remaja di LPKA serta pentingnya dukungan kebijakan, fasilitas dan pendampingan berkelanjutan.
