Abstract

Physics experiments play a crucial role in fostering student engagement, serving as a foundation for active learning and critical skill development. Experiments provide hands-on experiences that help students develop problem-solving abilities, scientific reasoning, and collaborative skills. Understanding the trends in experimental physics publications for teaching is essential to assess how this field evolves and to identify research gaps. This study examines the publication trends of experimental physics research for teaching over the past decade (2015–2024) by analyzing 2352 articles from prominent journals, including Physics Education, The Physics Teacher, European Journal of Physics, and American Journal of Physics. The results highlight notable peaks in publication during key periods, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, which accelerated innovation in virtual and remote experimental setups. Mechanics emerged as the most frequently researched topic, while thermodynamics and modern physics were underrepresented, suggesting significant research gaps. The analysis also identifies the transformative potential of technological advancements like smartphone-based tools and augmented reality, which have significantly enhanced teaching methodologies. This study underscores the need for collaborative efforts among researchers, educators, and policymakers to develop accessible, scalable, and innovative experimental approaches.

Abstract

RSUD Ir Soekarno Sukoharjo merupakan rumah sakit tipe B milik pemerintah yang berada di kabupaten Sukoharjo, jadi rumah rumah sakit ini memerlukan bahan makanan yang cukup banyak untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pasien, maka dari itu dibutuhkan sistem pengadaan bahan makanan yang akurat dan tepat. Pengadaan bahan makanan dilakukan oleh team ahli gizi di instalasi gizi. Sistem pengadaan bahan makanan di instalasi gizi RSUD Ir Soekarno Sukoharjo pada tahun 2019 mengalami perubahan dari sistem manual menjadi menggunakan sistem KHS (Krakatau Hospital System). Dengan adanya perubahan tersebut ada beberapa kendala yang dialami. Misalnya dalam pelaporan perbulan belum ada rekapannya dalam aplikasi tersebut jadi harus merekap sendiri dengan menggunakan bantuan excel. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Informan dari penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 5 orang. Teknik sampling menggunakan purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan wawancara. Metode analisa data mengunakan analisis PIECES. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan dengan adanya sistem informasi pengelolaan data pengadaan bahan makanan kinerjanya menjadi lebih baik sangat membantu, informasinya mudah untuk dipahami dan tepat waktu setiap bulannya, meminimalisir pengeluaran rumah sakit, keamanan dan pengawasannya cukup aman dan terkontrol, membuat pekerjaan lebih efisien, dan sudah memberikan hasil yang lebih baik terhadap rumah sakit. Abstract

This study aimed to develop an electronic student worksheet (E-LKPD) integrates real data from the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) for thermodynamics learning. The research employed the 4D development model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). At the define stage, the need for contextual learning media was identified, highlighting the importance of linking physics concepts with authentic climate data. The E-LKPD was designed with interactive and digital features to enhance student engagement. Validation by experts and teachers confirmed its validity and practicality. A classroom trial involving 35 students showed positive responses, improved conceptual understanding, and increased motivation. Observations further revealed that the integration of real climate data made physics learning more meaningful and engaging. In conclusion, the BMKG-based E-LKPD is a valid, practical, and effective learning resource that supports both conceptual mastery and student enthusiasm. Future research is recommended to examine its wider application in diverse classroom settings.

Abstract

Introduction : The safety and well-being of nurses in hospitals are vital. Nurses are at risk of experiencing issues with occupational health and safety (OHS) systems while working in hospitals. The data recap of needle injuries from UNS Hospital in 2022 shows that a nurse was accidentally stuck by a needle while caring for a patient. The incident occurred when the nurse disposed of a safety box that was full and not closed.   This study examines the impact of the occupational health and safety (OHS) system on the inpatient hospital ward performance of nurses. Objective : This kind of study employs a quantitative methodology and is explanatory in nature.  The population is 62 nurses.   Methods : The research tool is a survey. The sampling technique is total sampling.  The performance of nurses is the dependent variable, while the Occupational Safety and Health System (K3) is the independent variable. Standard linear regression tests were used to assess the data. The UNS Hospital's occupational health and safety system scored well in the survey (81%), and nurses' performance was likewise high (92%). According to the table of simple linear regression test results, the significance value was 0.042, which is less than 0.05. Result : The results of the occupational health and safety system affect nurses' performance. Conclussion : It is suggested that the K3RS team conduct more structured monitoring to create good nursing performance that is safe from the risk of workplace accidents. Keywords: System K3, Performance, Nurse   Pendahuluan : Keselamatan dan kesejahteraan perawat di rumah sakit sangatlah penting. Perawat berisiko mengalami permasalahan pada sistem kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja (K3) selama bekerja di rumah sakit. Rekap data cedera jarum suntik RS UNS tahun 2022 menunjukkan ada seorang perawat yang tidak sengaja tertusuk jarum saat merawat pasien. Peristiwa itu terjadi saat perawat membuang safety box yang sudah penuh dan tidak tertutup.   Penelitian ini mengkaji dampak sistem kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja (K3) terhadap kinerja perawat bangsal rawat inap rumah sakit. Tujuan : Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kuantitatif dan bersifat eksplanatori.  Populasinya adalah 62 perawat.  Metode : Alat penelitiannya adalah survei. Teknik pengambilan sampelnya adalah total sampling.  Kinerja perawat menjadi variabel terikat, sedangkan Sistem Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) menjadi variabel bebas. Uji regresi linier standar digunakan untuk menilai data. Sistem kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja di Rumah Sakit UNS mendapat nilai baik dalam survei ini (81%), dan kinerja perawat juga tinggi (92%). Berdasarkan tabel hasil uji regresi linier sederhana diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,042 kurang dari 0,05. Hasil : Hasil sistem kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja perawat. Kesimpulan : Disarankan kepada tim K3RS untuk melakukan monitoring yang lebih terstruktur agar tercipta kinerja keperawatan yang baik dan aman dari resiko kecelakaan kerja.
