Abstract

The development of academic applications that integrate digital libraries and academic information systems is becoming increasingly important in higher education institutions. This study aims to design the User Interface and User Experience Design of a mobile-based application for Al-Azhar Islamic University that combines these two systems using the Design Thinking method. Through the stages of empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test, user-centered insights are collected and translated into a functional and visually appealing prototype using Figma, Figma is used because of its advantages for simultaneous design. The survey results showed that most students had difficulty accessing academic materials and navigating existing platforms. The final prototype integrates academic and library functions with a consistent and user-friendly interface that aligns with the university's visual identity. The results show that the prototype meets user expectations in terms of clarity, usability, and shows potential for improving and developing academics. This study takes a new approach to integrating academic information systems and digital libraries into one mobile application through collaborative UI/UX design.

Abstract

The rapid development of financial technology (FinTech) and shifting organizational dynamics have compelled banking institutions to reassess their internal capabilities and strategic positioning. This study aims to examine the influence of internal factors namely the Core Values of State-Owned Enterprises (AKHLAK), innovation culture, gratitude, employee commitment, and employee performance on the competitive strategy of Bank BNI, while also investigating the moderating role of FinTech. A quantitative research design was employed using a survey method, involving 200 employees of Bank BNI. Data were analyzed using Cluster Analysis and Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM–PLS) through WarpPLS software. The results indicate that AKHLAK core values, innovation culture, and gratitude have significant positive effects on employee commitment and performance. Furthermore, both employee commitment and performance significantly enhance the bank’s competitive strategy. FinTech was found to significantly moderate the relationship between employee-related factors and competitive strategy. In conclusion, this study presents an integrated model that highlights the strategic role of internal organizational values and behavior, enhanced by digital technology, in fostering competitive advantage within the banking sector.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to minimize business losses by applying the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method, which optimizes inventory ordering to reduce costs based on customer database analysis. The implementation of this program employed the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach, consisting of several stages: pre-implementation, education, mentoring, training, and evaluation. The results show a significant reduction in business losses from 40% to 10%. In addition, sales increased from 30% to 60%, and customer growth rose from 33% to 67%. The impact of this program indicates that the partner is now able to reduce business losses, increase sales, expand the customer base, and develop two new banana-based product variants—pisang molen and pisang sale—which contribute to higher business profits.
