Abstract

The using of contraception in women is closely related to decreased fertility. In the Internation al Conference on Population and Development (1995), it is expected that women will absorb more information about the using of contraception and participate in using it, as the status of women's empowerment increases. This study aims to determine the effect of women's empowerment and socio-demographic factors on the using of modern contraception in West Java in 2017. The data used are acquired from the Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey (IDHS) in 2017. The research method uses binary logistic regression methods. It is a statistical method that uses binary data, where binary data is data that has only two possible outcomes. Ie results (0) fail, (1) success. Binary logistic regression tries to see how the relationship of some predatory variables with binary variables that have the possibility of failure and success. In this study the variable use of the contraception tool for the fertility rate of women aged 14-45 years. There are nine social demographic variables and five women's empowerment variables that significantly influence the use of modern contraception. The socio-demographic variables that significantly influence are age, female education, work status, husband's education, number of live children, ideal number of children, wealth index, area of residence, and family planning visits.

Abstract

Abstract. In Indonesia, the automotive industry is still the pillar of the manufacturing sector. However, the automotive industry faces major challenges, especially in developing environmentally friendly automotive products and supply chains for domestic and global needs. The EV supply chain is becoming more challenging to mass-produce. This research will develop a model that will lead to a lean supply chain in the EV industry in Indonesia as an effort to develop EV in the world. Qualitative descriptive research with a case study approach is used in this study. Case studies on five companies in the EV industry in Indonesia were selected for investigation by collecting various kinds of information from annual reports and other literature which were then processed to obtain a solution so that the problems revealed could be resolved. Lean supply chain management systems are able to add value for customers and for the business and are customer driven. In addition to developing the supply chain on the production side, the accessibility of electricity supply must also be considered when EVs are widely used by the public.

Abstract

Abstract

General elections in Indonesia are an important mechanism in the democratic process that aims to elect people's representatives and government leaders. However, the electoral system in Indonesia faces various problems that can threaten the quality of democracy. These problems include the practice of money politics, vote manipulation, and lack of transparency in the election process. In addition, the existence of political intervention and bureaucracy that are not neutral are also serious challenges. The impact of these problems on democracy is very significant, including declining public trust in democratic institutions, weakening public political participation, and hampering the process of forming an accountable and responsive government. Therefore, a comprehensive electoral system reform is needed to strengthen democracy in Indonesia.

Abstract

In the healthcare industry, patient satisfaction is a major concern for healthcare providers, patient satisfaction is not only related to the quality of medical services provided but is also influenced by other factors such as price and location of healthcare services. This study aims to analyze the effect of Price and Location on Outpatient Satisfaction by taking a survey of Patients at the Tata Sehat Clinic in Bandung City. The data used in this study were taken from primary data, namely data directly taken by researchers by distributing questionnaires to patients of the Tata Sehat Clinic and secondary data, namely data on the number of patient visits from the Tata Sehat Clinic. Sampling was carried out using the non-probability sampling method with a total of 100 respondents. The independent variables in this study were price and location, while the dependent variable in this study was patient satisfaction. The results of the study using the T test (partial) showed that the price variable partially had a positive and significant effect on the patient satisfaction variable. The location variable also partially had a positive and significant effect on the patient satisfaction variable. The results of the study using the F test (simultaneous) showed that the price and location variables simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on the patient satisfaction variable. Multiple linear regression analysis obtained the following regression equation Y = 5.072 + 0.435X1 + 0.286X2. The results of the determination coefficient test (adjusted R square) value are0.521 this means that the price and location influences patient satisfaction by 52.1%, while the restby 47.9%influenced by other variables outside this research.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the model of character development of discipline in children at Pembina Sikur State Kindergarten and parenting education efforts implemented by parents at home. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The instruments used include observation sheets for the development of children's discipline character. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman technique, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that the “Morning Journal” model implemented in schools was effective in improving children's disciplined character. This model involves collaboration between schools and parents, through parenting education activities such as "Parent Class." Children showed very good development of disciplined character, which was reflected in behaviors such as arriving on time, obeying class rules, and maintaining cleanliness. Parents also supported this development at home by getting children used to being responsible, making daily schedules, giving praise, and being role models. This study emphasizes the importance of synergy between schools and families in forming the disciplined character of early childhood through a parenting education-based approach.
