Abstract

Human resource (HR) empowerment is a crucial step in improving the economic well-being of communities. In the context of community service, the theme "HR Empowerment to Improve Community Economic Welfare" focuses on strategic efforts to increase the capacity and quality of human resources, thereby creating sustainable economic opportunities for the community. In general, many communities are still hampered by limited education and skills. They require training and education tailored to market needs to compete in the workforce and manage their own businesses. Therefore, HR empowerment programs through practical skills training such as entrepreneurship, sustainable agriculture, business management, and technology utilization are crucial. These trainings aim to develop technical skills relevant to market needs while simultaneously supporting improved economic well-being. Furthermore, this program aims to raise community awareness of the importance of education and skills in achieving better economic opportunities. During the empowerment process, communities are involved in program planning and implementation, fostering a sense of ownership and motivation to implement the changes. With an approach involving training, mentoring, and access to economic opportunities, it is hoped that human resource empowerment will increase productivity and quality of life, while creating a more independent and sustainable economy. Through human resource empowerment, the economic well-being of communities can be significantly improved, which in turn will strengthen their competitiveness in facing global challenges.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam membangun sumber daya manusia untuk masa depan yang berkelanjutan merupakan upaya yang krusial dalam mendukung pembangunan yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan. Melalui serangkaian program pendidikan, pelatihan, dan pembangunan keterampilan, masyarakat diberdayakan untuk menghadapi tantangan masa depan dengan lebih baik. Abstrak ini menggambarkan konsep, tujuan, metode, dan hasil dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam membangun sumber daya manusia untuk masa depan yang berkelanjutan. Program-program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan akses pendidikan, meningkatkan keterampilan, dan mempersiapkan masyarakat untuk berpartisipasi dalam ekonomi global yang semakin kompleks dan berubah. Melalui pendekatan yang berkelanjutan dan berbasis masyarakat, diharapkan pengabdian ini dapat memberikan dampak yang positif dalam menciptakan masa depan yang lebih baik bagi semua.

Abstract

Program peningkatan kompetensi sumber daya manusia (SDM) merupakan langkah strategis untuk mendukung transformasi ekonomi lokal, khususnya di Desa Cicalengka, Kelurahan Pagedangan. Program ini dirancang untuk menjawab tantangan utama yang dihadapi masyarakat desa, seperti rendahnya keterampilan kerja, akses terbatas terhadap pelatihan, dan kurangnya peluang usaha yang inovatif. Fokus utama program ini adalah pada pengembangan keterampilan berbasis potensi lokal, seperti pelatihan kewirausahaan, pengelolaan produk pertanian, dan penguasaan teknologi digital. Melalui pendekatan partisipatif, program ini melibatkan pemerintah desa, pelaku usaha lokal, dan organisasi masyarakat dalam merancang dan mengimplementasikan kegiatan pelatihan yang relevan dengan kebutuhan masyarakat. Selain itu, dukungan teknologi dan jejaring pemasaran diperkuat untuk membuka akses ke pasar yang lebih luas. Hasil program ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan produktivitas dan pendapatan masyarakat, menciptakan lapangan kerja baru, serta memperkuat ketahanan ekonomi lokal. Dengan demikian, transformasi ekonomi di Desa Cicalengka dapat berjalan secara inklusif, berkelanjutan, dan berbasis pemberdayaan masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the contribution of motivation and work discipline to employee performance at PT. Sarimelati Kencana Tbk. This study uses a quantitative method with an associative descriptive approach. The study population was 355 employees, while the study sample was 75 respondents determined using the Slovin formula. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires, while data analysis techniques used validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, correlation coefficients, determination coefficients, partial t tests, and simultaneous F tests. The results showed that motivation had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, indicated by the regression equation Y = 15.095 + 0.672X1, a correlation value of 0.776, a determination coefficient of 60.3%, and a calculated t value of 10.522 greater than the t table of 1.993 with a significance of 0.000. Work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, shown through the regression equation Y = 6.438 + 0.825X2, a correlation value of 0.901, a coefficient of determination of 81.2%, and a calculated t value of 17.780 greater than the t table of 1.993 with a significance of 0.000. Simultaneously, motivation and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, shown through the regression equation Y = 5.708 + 0.203X1 + 0.664X2, a correlation value of 0.915, a coefficient of determination of 83.7%, and a calculated F value of 184.756 greater than the F table of 3.12 with a significance of 0.000. These findings indicate that improving employee performance can be done through strengthening motivational factors and implementing work discipline consistently.
