Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the History Room application as an interactive learning medium to improve learning outcomes in social studies. The research method used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach model Kemmis and McTaggart, this study involved 25 students and was conducted in two cycles. Data collection was carried out through initial tests (pre-test) and final tests (post-test) to measure improvements in student learning outcomes. The History Room application, which presents historical material through text, images, and videos, was integrated into classroom learning activities. The results showed a significant increase in students' average scores, from 65.08 in the pre-test to 80.04 in the post-test, with a learning mastery level reaching 88%. These findings indicate that the History Room application successfully creates a student-centered learning atmosphere, encourages independent exploration of historical content, and enhances collaboration between students. Overall, this study concludes that the use of interactive digital media such as History Room is effective in making social studies subjects more interesting and accessible, thereby optimally increasing student engagement and understanding. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the internal and external factors that influence students' interest and learning outcomes in Social Studies (IPS) class VIII B at MTS Baitul Hikmah Tempurejo. The background of this study is the low participation of students and learning outcomes that have not reached the minimum standard, which indicates the existence of obstacles in the aspects of interest and motivation to learn. This research uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods to explore the subjective experiences of students and teachers. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results show that internal factors such as intrinsic motivation, self-confidence, and perception of the lesson affect students' interest in learning. Meanwhile, external factors such as teacher teaching methods, parental support, and the availability of infrastructure also determine learning success. This research confirms the importance of collaboration between a contextualized pedagogical approach and a supportive learning environment to create more effective social studies learning. The findings provide a practical contribution for teachers and schools in designing learning strategies that can improve students' motivation and overall learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the use of 2D animated videos impacts student learning activities in Social Studies (IPS) subjects in class VIII E at SMPN 01 Sumberbaru. The background of this study is based on the fact that conventional learning processes, which are usually monotonous and uninteresting, have low student engagement and participation. This study uses a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design. A non-comparable control group design was used. Questionnaires, documentation, and observation were used to collect data. The results of the study indicate that student learning activities with 2D animated video media are different from conventional learning methods. During the learning process, 2D animated video media can increase student interest, engagement, and interaction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the quizizz application learning media on the motivation and learning outcomes of class X history of SMK 2 Pancasila. The focus of the study was to see the extent to which the quizizz learning media influenced the motivation and learning outcomes of students. The research method used a Pre-Experimental Design type two group posttest-only design with a quantitative approach. There were control and experimental classes to prove the action hypothesis that there was a significant effect of the use of quizizz media between the two groups. Data collection techniques were in the form of learning motivation questionnaires and test questions to determine learning outcomes. Data analysis used a scoring technique with a Likert scale, normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test, all of which were processed using the SPSS version 25 application. The results of the study were that in the control class the highest score was 70 and after being given treatment in the experimental class the score became 100, then the average obtained from the control class was 60.2 and in the experimental class it became 89.0. The value of the motivation questionnaire r count is 0.0713 and the value of r table = 44, and the Posttest r count is 0.0601 and the value of r table = 44, and the significance value is 0.05 so that H0 is accepted. And the value of the motivation questionnaire is 0.0713 then H0 is accepted because >0.05, and the posttest value is 0.0601 then H0 is accepted because >0.05. So it can be concluded that with the treatment of learning media using quizizz in History subjects, it has an impact on increasing values ​​significantly, students are more motivated in learning History by completing History assignments and questions well, so it can be concluded that the quizizz learning media provides high interest and motivation in learning History.
