<![CDATA[abstrak— Penelitian ini mengkaji fenomena alih kode dan campur kode dalam presentasi hingga sesi diskusi di Kelas A-1 PS-PBSI Angkatan 2023. Fenomena alih kode dan campur kode merupakan hal yang lumrah da-lam masyarakat yang menguasai lebih dari satu bahasa, termasuk maha-siswa PBSI yang mempunyai kesadaran linguistik tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah mengidentifikasi penyebab alih kode dan campur kode serta mengevaluasi pengaruhnya terhadap pemahaman materi dan efek-tivitas komunikasi. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik observasi partisipan tersamar, rekam sadap, dan pencatatan, dengan fokus pada tu-turan siswa yang berperan sebagai pemandu presentasi, presenter, dan penanya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fenomena alih kode dan campur kode terjadi secara signifikan. Alih kode terjadi antara bahasa In-donesia dan bahasa Banjar, sedangkan campur kode yang teridentifikasi meliputi campur kode ke dalam dan campur kode ke luar. Penelitian ini memeperluas pengetahuan mengenai fenomena alih kode campur kode dalam konteks pendidikan formal.Kata kunci— Alih kode, campur kode, presentasiAbstract—This research examines the phenomenon of code switching and code mixing in presentations and discussion sessions in Class A-1 PS-PBSI Class of 2023. The phenomenon of code switching and code mixing is commonplace in people who master more than one language, including PBSI students who have awareness high linguistics. The aim of this re-search is to identify the causes of code switching and code mixing and to spread their influence on material understanding and communication ef-fectiveness. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection was carried out through disguised participant observation techniques, tapping recording, and note taking, with a focus on the speech of students who acted as presentation guides, presenters, and questioners. The research results show that the phenomena of code switching and code mixing occur significantly. Code switching occurs be-tween Indonesian and Banjar languages, while the identified code mixing includes inward code mixing and outward code mixing.
