Abstract

Waste has become an urgent issue in the modern era. The lack of environmental concern leads to pollution and environmental damage. The high occurrence of natural disasters, especially hydro-meteorological ones, is caused by human indifference. The unmanaged growth of waste contributes to complex damage and pollution. The low public awareness about waste results in a change in lifestyle that relies on single-use plastics. Insufficient education and curriculum hinder students' understanding of environmental management. The lack of environmental education and awareness poses a barrier to shaping children's character and environmental consciousness. There is a need for increased integration in the curriculum and learning media to strengthen students' understanding of the importance of environmental conservation from an early age. Therefore, this research aims to develop an innovative medium in the form of an interactive game-based application for environmental education and waste management, using the R&D method for game development and incorporating the Fuzzy Sugeno method for implementing the reward system. Abstract

Universitas Hasyim Asy'ari has 31 active student organizations that organize various events for students and public. However, university faces conflicting requests for a simultaneous use of facilities and equipment for these events. Therefore, research aims to develop a system using TOPSIS method to assist equipment administrator in making decisions for allocation of facilities and equipment. This research is focuses on designing and implementing a system for borrowing facilities and equipment for events at Universitas Hasyim Asy'ari, while also investigating how to effectively apply TOPSIS method within this system. TOPSIS method is utilized to prioritize events based on specific criteria, such as estimated number of participants, speakers or guests, and event costs. This method selects alternatives that are closest to positive ideal solution and farthest from negative ideal solution. Research findings demonstrate that manual calculation of TOPSIS method aligns with results obtained from system implementation, generating identical values for each evaluated alternative. implementation of TOPSIS method in this system has been carried out accurately, and system gives results corresponding to manual calculations. This increases confidence in results of evaluation and selection of alternatives for borrowing facilities and equipment in organizing events. Abstract

The development of modern technology plays a crucial role in enhancing efficiency and societal well-being. The demand for efficient and energy-saving automatic tools is increasing, both in industry and households. Plant growth heavily depends on environmental parameters such as temperature and soil moisture, which must align with the plant's needs. In Lamongrejo Village, tobacco farmers still use manual irrigation methods, which are time-consuming, labor-intensive, and inefficient in water usage, thus decreasing the interest of young generations in agriculture. This research aims to design and test an IoT (Internet of Things)-based automatic plant irrigation system using the fuzzy Mamdani method. This system employs soil moisture and temperature sensors to monitor soil conditions in real-time, which are then processed using the fuzzy Mamdani method to regulate the water volume. The research findings indicate that the soil moisture sensor and DHT-11 function effectively, categorizing soil conditions into very good, good, poor, and bad, and automatically adjusting the irrigation volume accordingly. Irrigation is scheduled automatically every day at 3:00 PM with the help of an RTC module. Using this system makes it possible to increase irrigation efficiency, conserve resources, and attract the interest of young generations in agriculture.
