Abstract

Waste has become an urgent issue in the modern era. The lack of environmental concern leads to pollution and environmental damage. The high occurrence of natural disasters, especially hydro-meteorological ones, is caused by human indifference. The unmanaged growth of waste contributes to complex damage and pollution. The low public awareness about waste results in a change in lifestyle that relies on single-use plastics. Insufficient education and curriculum hinder students' understanding of environmental management. The lack of environmental education and awareness poses a barrier to shaping children's character and environmental consciousness. There is a need for increased integration in the curriculum and learning media to strengthen students' understanding of the importance of environmental conservation from an early age. Therefore, this research aims to develop an innovative medium in the form of an interactive game-based application for environmental education and waste management, using the R&D method for game development and incorporating the Fuzzy Sugeno method for implementing the reward system. Abstract

Universitas Hasyim Asy'ari has 31 active student organizations that organize various events for students and public. However, university faces conflicting requests for a simultaneous use of facilities and equipment for these events. Therefore, research aims to develop a system using TOPSIS method to assist equipment administrator in making decisions for allocation of facilities and equipment. This research is focuses on designing and implementing a system for borrowing facilities and equipment for events at Universitas Hasyim Asy'ari, while also investigating how to effectively apply TOPSIS method within this system. TOPSIS method is utilized to prioritize events based on specific criteria, such as estimated number of participants, speakers or guests, and event costs. This method selects alternatives that are closest to positive ideal solution and farthest from negative ideal solution. Research findings demonstrate that manual calculation of TOPSIS method aligns with results obtained from system implementation, generating identical values for each evaluated alternative. implementation of TOPSIS method in this system has been carried out accurately, and system gives results corresponding to manual calculations. This increases confidence in results of evaluation and selection of alternatives for borrowing facilities and equipment in organizing events. Abstract

Forecasting or prediction is a technique utilize to anticipate future indefiniteness in an attempt to make more effective judgement. Fuzzy Time Series is the latest approach in preparation brilliance that is utilize to predict propositions by translating annals data into linguistic values ​​and producing more precise predictions. This research discusses the fuzzy time series system developed by Chen (1996) to predict the number of visitors to the Indonesian Islamic Museum Hasyim Asy'ari Tebuireng Jombang (MINHA) in July 2024. In fuzzy time series, the extensive of the interval greatly influences the predictions results. The system for quotation the extensive of the interval used in this study uses Sturges' rule, predicting the number of visitors to the MINHA museum based on data for June 2022 - April 2024, the forecast results for May were 1390,583 with a MAPE value of 21.27, while the forecast for June produced a forecast of 17,204,417 months. July produced forecasts of 14566.15 with a MAPE value of 24.77 which was included in the feasible forecasting category. Keywords: Forecasting, Fuzzy Time Series, Chen , Number of visitor

Abstract

MTs Darul Falah is an agency that predicts the best students manually and still uses Excel, so the system that has been created will make it easier for teachers to predict the best students. In determining/predicting the best students the author uses the Decision Tree method. Decision Tree One of the classification algorithms that is commonly used to obtain non-binary classification results where the results will form the root of a decision tree. Therefore, the importance of the best student prediction system in making a decision. The aim of the research is to make it easier for schools to determine the best students who can be sent to take part in the Olympics. In this research, testing was carried out using Black Boks Testing. The results of this research are in the form of a website-based best student prediction system with data from 25 students who were predicted to be the best students. Overall it can be concluded that in testing the application the best student predictions were received according to what was needed. Keywords: Predictions, Decision Trees, Thesis Topics

Abstract

This research explores the use of Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) algorithm to optimize package delivery routes in the courier industry. With the increasing popularity of online shopping, delivery efficiency is becoming increasingly crucial. The ACO algorithm was chosen for its ability to solve the Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) by finding the shortest route connecting multiple points. The research data was collected through interviews with couriers and analysis of the delivery route, which includes the coordinates of the package recipient to calculate the distance between points using MapBox. The results showed that the ACO algorithm was able to generate routes with shorter total distances compared to conventional methods. However, implementation in the field requires consideration of other factors such as the availability of package recipients, delivery demand at certain hours, and variations in delivery locations. This finding underscores the importance of considering various additional factors for the effective implementation of this method. The implementation of a web-based system that records the coordinates of the recipient and suggests efficient paths is proposed to improve delivery efficiency. Abstract

The development of modern technology plays a crucial role in enhancing efficiency and societal well-being. The demand for efficient and energy-saving automatic tools is increasing, both in industry and households. Plant growth heavily depends on environmental parameters such as temperature and soil moisture, which must align with the plant's needs. In Lamongrejo Village, tobacco farmers still use manual irrigation methods, which are time-consuming, labor-intensive, and inefficient in water usage, thus decreasing the interest of young generations in agriculture. This research aims to design and test an IoT (Internet of Things)-based automatic plant irrigation system using the fuzzy Mamdani method. This system employs soil moisture and temperature sensors to monitor soil conditions in real-time, which are then processed using the fuzzy Mamdani method to regulate the water volume. The research findings indicate that the soil moisture sensor and DHT-11 function effectively, categorizing soil conditions into very good, good, poor, and bad, and automatically adjusting the irrigation volume accordingly. Irrigation is scheduled automatically every day at 3:00 PM with the help of an RTC module. Using this system makes it possible to increase irrigation efficiency, conserve resources, and attract the interest of young generations in agriculture.
