Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Work Discipline, Compensation, and Work Environment on Employee Performance at the Regional Public Drinking Water Company Tirta Kerta Raharja (PERUMDAM TKR) of Tangerang Regency, both simultaneously and partially. The research employs a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis. The F-test results show that all three independent variables have a significant simultaneous effect on employee performance. The t-test results indicate that Work Discipline and Work Environment have a significant partial effect, while Compensation does not significantly influence performance.This study contributes a novel perspective to human resource management in the public service sector by revealing that compensation is not necessarily a key driver of employee performance. The research emphasizes the importance of strengthening a culture of discipline and providing a supportive work environment as the main pillars of employee performance. The findings suggest the need for a more integrated, technology-based human resource management strategy and a greater focus on non-financial approaches to sustain employee motivation and loyalty.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Disiplin Kerja, Kompensasi, dan Lingkungan Kerja terhadap Kinerja Pegawai di Perusahaan Umum Daerah Air Minum Tirta Kerta Raharja (PERUMDAM TKR) Kabupaten Tangerang, baik secara simultan maupun parsial. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil uji F menunjukkan bahwa ketiga variabel independen secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai. Uji t secara parsial menunjukkan bahwa Disiplin Kerja dan Lingkungan Kerja memiliki pengaruh signifikan, sementara Kompensasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi baru terhadap studi manajemen sumber daya manusia di sektor pelayanan publik, khususnya dengan menunjukkan bahwa kompensasi bukan merupakan faktor utama dalam peningkatan kinerja. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti pentingnya penguatan budaya disiplin dan lingkungan kerja yang mendukung sebagai pilar utama kinerja pegawai. Implikasi dari penelitian ini mengarah pada perlunya strategi pengelolaan SDM yang lebih terintegrasi dan berbasis teknologi, serta pendekatan non-finansial dalam menjaga motivasi dan loyalitas pegawai.

Abstract

In Indonesia, especially in the employment sector, a qualified workforce is needed so that companies can remain competitive and experience rapid growth. The demand for qualified labor continues to increase every year, which makes competition among job seekers increasingly fierce. In addition, many new graduates face difficulties in finding a job due to lack of access to information. Therefore, there are several factors that can facilitate job seekers in the application and job search process, such as recruitment sources, company branding, and a fast and efficient selection process. These factors help recruiters in finding candidates that match the needs of the company and the position required.
