Abstract

The development of digital technology has driven the transformation of Islamic banking, where e-business and e-commerce have become the main strategies in increasing marketing competitiveness. E-business integrates technology into bank operations, increases service efficiency, expands customer reach, and creates a more competitive banking ecosystem. In marketing, data-based digital strategies enable more specific customer segmentation and increase customer engagement. Meanwhile, e-commerce facilitates digital services such as mobile banking, online payments, and technology-based Islamic financing, which increase transparency and transaction security. Other advantages include expanding market reach, support for MSMEs, and the use of blockchain technology, smart contracts, AI, and big data analytics in increasing efficiency and personalization of services. However, challenges such as uneven digital infrastructure, low digital literacy, and evolving regulations need to be overcome. However, Islamic-based fintech and digital payment innovations open up great opportunities for Islamic banks to continue to grow and compete globally. Therefore, adaptive strategies and collaboration with the technology industry are needed to strengthen the competitiveness of Islamic banks.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze digitalization strategies in increasing the competitiveness of Islamic banks in the modern era. Digitalization has become a critical factor in facing global competition, especially with the increasing demands of customers for fast, safe, and sharia-compliant services. Based on data from Bank Syariah Indonesia (2023), the implementation of mobile banking applications and digital services has increased the number of active customers by 25%. However, challenges such as low digital literacy, dependence on legacy systems, and the need to ensure sharia compliance are still major obstacles (Muhdar, 2023; Setiawan & Mugiyati, 2024). This study uses a qualitative approach by analyzing secondary data from accredited journals and annual reports of Islamic banks. The results of the study show that strategies such as the adoption of sharia fintech, integration of blockchain technology, use of big data analytics, and development of mobile banking applications can improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction (Andespa, 2024; Awamleh, 2024). However, the success of digitalization is highly dependent on infrastructure readiness, human resource competence, and collaboration with sharia fintech. This study provides recommendations for Islamic banks to invest in digital infrastructure development, employee training, and product innovation in accordance with Islamic principles to increase competitiveness in the digital era.

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi telah membuka ruang baru bagi terjadinya berbagai tindak kejahatan berbasis digital, termasuk Cyberbullying. Tindak pidana ini menimbulkan dampak yang luas, baik secara psikologis, sosial, maupun yuridis terhadap korban, sehingga diperlukan pengaturan hukum yang jelas serta penegakan hukum yang efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaturan tindak pidana Cyberbullying dalam sistem hukum pidana Indonesia serta mengkaji hambatan dan upaya penegakan hukum berdasarkan Undang-Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 2024 tentang Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah yuridis normatif dengan pendekatan peraturan perundang-undangan dan pendekatan konseptual, yang bersumber pada data sekunder berupa bahan hukum primer dan bahan hukum sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaturan hukum terkait Cyberbullying dalam hukum pidana Indonesia masih belum terintegrasi secara sistematis, terutama dalam Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Pidana, sehingga penerapannya cenderung mengandalkan Undang-Undang Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik sebagai lex specialis. Dalam praktiknya, penegakan hukum menghadapi sejumlah kendala, antara lain kesulitan pembuktian melalui alat bukti elektronik, identitas pelaku yang sulit dilacak, serta rendahnya tingkat pemahaman hukum masyarakat. Oleh sebab itu, diperlukan penguatan regulasi, peningkatan literasi digital, serta optimalisasi peran aparat penegak hukum guna mewujudkan perlindungan hukum yang efektif bagi korban Cyberbullying.
