Abstract

Keseimbangan postural merupakan hasil koordinasi kompleks dari sistem visual, vestibular, dan somatosensorik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh variasi stimulus visual terhadap aktivitas otot gastrocnemius dan kestabilan tubuh. Enam partisipan sehat berusia 18–25 tahun diberikan empat kondisi visual melalui kacamata realitas virtual (VR Glasses): bergerak putih, bergerak merah, tidak bergerak putih, dan tidak bergerak merah. Aktivitas otot direkam menggunakan Surface Electromyography (sEMG), sedangkan kestabilan tubuh direkam melalui sensor gyroscope MPU-6050. Data dianalisis menggunakan Two-Way Repeated Measures Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) dan uji korelasi Pearson. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa gerakan visual secara signifikan meningkatkan postural sway, terutama dalam arah antero-posterior, dan berdampak lebih besar dibandingkan variasi warna. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rangsangan visual dinamis dapat dimanfaatkan dalam program pelatihan keseimbangan. Abstract

Adegan mencekam dan netral dapat memicu perubahan emosi yang berbeda, dengan stres sebagai respons fisiologis dan psikologis terhadap tekanan yang melebihi kapasitas adaptasi individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem eye tracking yang menganalisis pola pergerakan mata sebagai indikator perubahan respons terkait stres. Data dikumpulkan dengan merekam wajah subjek saat menonton video menegangkan. Pola pergerakan mata kemudian dianalisis menggunakan Machine Learning. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan pada total amplitudo saccade antara adegan menegangkan dan non-menegangkan, dengan p-value 0,018 (p < 0,05). Ini menunjukkan bahwa total amplitudo saccade efektif sebagai indikator perubahan emosional akibat stimulus menegangkan, dan dapat diandalkan untuk menilai perubahan respons psikologis, khususnya terkait stres. Sistem eye tracking yang dikembangkan memberikan wawasan lebih dalam tentang hubungan antara stimulus dan perubahan emosi, yang dapat digunakan untuk mengukur respons psikologis terhadap stimulus yang berbeda. Perancangan ini juga dapat digunakan dalam membuka potensi penggunaan teknologi ini dalam studi-studi lebih lanjut terkait respons emosional dan stres. Abstract

Postural stability depends on multisensory integration, yet most studies focus on a single EMG feature or sensory condition at a time. This creates a significant gap in understanding how multiple EMG features change when various sensory inputs are altered during quiet standing. To address this, the present study examined bilateral medial and lateral gastrocnemius activation using five EMG features: Mean Absolute Value (MAV), Root Mean Square (RMS), Waveform Length (WL), Integrated EMG (IEMG), and Total Power (PT) across four sensory conditions that combine visual input (eyes open or closed) and surface stability (stable or unstable). A one-way ANOVA revealed significant condition effects for RMS, MAV, WL, and IEMG (p < 0.05), while PT showed only a non-significant trend. Paired t-test results indicated that MAV significantly increased on the unstable surface with eyes closed compared to the stable surface (t(4) = 4.793, p = 0.009), WL increased in the right lateral gastrocnemius under the same condition (t(4) = 3.976, p = 0.016), and closing the eyes on a stable surface significantly increased WL in the right medial gastrocnemius (t(4) = 6.209, p = 0.003). Across features, the right gastrocnemius consistently showed greater modulation than the left, suggesting dominance-related asymmetry in neuromuscular control. This study provides one of the first bilateral multi-feature EMG characterizations of sensory perturbations during quiet standing. The findings demonstrate that the absence of vision increases neuromuscular demand even on stable surfaces, and that unstable surfaces further amplify activation, particularly in complexity-related features such as WL. These outcomes highlight the potential of EMG features, especially WL, as objective biomarkers for balance assessment. Clinically, the results may inform rehabilitation and fall-prevention programs by supporting the use of unstable surfaces and vision-restricted exercises to enhance proprioceptive and vestibular compensation

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional issue that hampers children's growth, characterized by height below the standard set by the World Health Organization (WHO). The primary cause is prolonged malnutrition, especially during the first 1,000 days of life—from pregnancy until the child turns two. In Indonesia, stunting has become a national priority due to its long-term impact on human resource quality and the country’s future. According to the 2022 Indonesian Nutrition Status Survey (SSGI), national stunting prevalence stands at 21.6%, while West Java reports 20.2%. In Bandung Regency, including Dayeuhkolot area, stunted children are still found, often due to inadequate monitoring during pregnancy and low maternal awareness about nutritional health. Efforts to reduce stunting should not focus only on toddlers but also prioritize early prevention during pregnancy. Maternal health—encompassing nutritional status, blood pressure, weight, and mid-upper arm circumference (MUAC)—plays a crucial role in determining the risk of delivering low birth weight (LBW) babies, a major stunting risk factor. However, many pregnant women lack knowledge of how to use basic health measurement tools like MUAC tapes, weight scales, and blood pressure monitors. Through this community service program, the team will conduct health education and practical training sessions for pregnant women at Posyandu 08 Melati, Citeureup Village, Dayeuhkolot. The initiative aims to improve maternal health literacy, equip participants with skills to use health tools, and raise early detection awareness for stunting prevention. A participatory, community-based approach will be applied to ensure sustainable impact in line with the government’s national stunting reduction agenda.

Abstract

Kelompok Tani Hutan (KTH) Giri Senang yang berlokasi di Desa Giri Mekar, Kecamatan Cilengkrang, Kabupaten Bandung, merupakan komunitas petani kopi yang mengelola lahan sekitar 300 hektar, termasuk kawasan Perhutani KPH Bandung Utara. Kelompok ini mampu memproduksi rata-rata 50 ton kopi setiap bulan dan telah menjadi pemasok kopi Arabika unggulan serta sebagian Robusta ke berbagai pasar, seperti Starbucks, Kopi Kenangan, serta pasar ekspor ke Abu Dhabi dan penjajakan ke pasar Eropa. Meskipun demikian, pengembangan usaha masih menghadapi kendala pada sistem pemasaran digital, khususnya dalam meningkatkan visibilitas produk dan nilai ekonomi kopi di pasar daring. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan mengembangkan situs web sebagai sarana edukasi budidaya dan pengolahan kopi, media branding usaha, serta platform informasi bisnis. Pengembangan situs web dilakukan dengan integrasi media sosial dan optimalisasi search engine optimization (SEO) untuk memperluas jangkauan pasar dan meningkatkan kepercayaan konsumen. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi penyusunan konten, pengembangan sistem front-end dan back-end, perancangan pengalaman pengguna (UX), serta pelatihan pengelolaan konten bagi anggota KTH. Program ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan visibilitas usaha kopi Giri Senang, memperbaiki alur informasi internal, serta membangun sistem pemasaran digital yang berkelanjutan untuk mendukung ekspansi pasar domestik dan global.
