ABSTRAK              Pelayanan komunikasi yang dilakukan setiap perusahaan perlu dilakukan oleh instansi ahli di bidangnya. Humas adalah wajah bagi perusahaan yang memfasilitasi berbagai mediasi perusahaan kepada stakeholder atau internal perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan ilmu kehumasan yang menurut peneliti masih minim yang membahas secara spesifik tentang humas perusahaan. Maka dari itu, peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif yang mana teori ini dapat mendeskripsikan data secara narasi yang mudah dipahami. Peneliti menggunakan Teori Excellence oleh Grunig & Hunt yang mana teori ini menjadi standar bagaimana humas melakukan berbagai pola komunikasi yang efektif bagi internal dan eksternal perusahaan. Hasil penelitian ini membahas perihal Humas PT Bukit Asam Tbk Tanjung Enim yang telah melakukan serangkaian program komunikasi dan mediasi seperti exposure media, media relations, pelayanan berkala kepada stakeholder, event management, management crisis, dan agenda setting. Sehingga didapat kesimpulan bahwa Humas sangat krusial dalam pengelolaan pelayanan khususnya komunikasi perusahaan agar terpeliharanya relasi yang baik dan saling menguntungkan. ABSTRACT Communication services carried out by each company need to be carried out by expert agencies in their field. Public relations is the face of a company that facilitates various company mediations with stakeholders or internal companies. This research aims to develop public relations science, which according to researchers is still minimal which specifically discusses corporate public relations. Therefore, researchers use qualitative methods where this theory can describe data in a narrative that is easy to understand. Researchers use the Excellence Theory by Grunig & Hunt, which is the standard for how public relations carries out various effective communication patterns for internal and external companies. The results of this research discuss the Public Relations of PT Bukit Asam Tbk Tanjung Enim which has carried out a series of communication and mediation programs such as media exposure, media relations, regular services to stakeholders, event management, crisis management, and agenda setting. So it can be concluded that Public Relations is very crucial in managing services, especially corporate communications, so that good and mutually beneficial relationships are maintained.
