Abstract

This research aims to identify students' misconceptions about momentum and impulse material using a four-tier diagnostic assessment instrument to implement learning evaluation in the Merdeka curriculum. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques carried out through assessments and interviews. Interview data is used to reinforce assessment data. The instrument used in the study is a four-tier diagnostic test on momentum and impulse developed by the researchers. The results showed that 50% of students experienced misconceptions about momentum matter due to the assumption that if two objects move with the same kinetic energy should have the same speed so that the momentum of both objects can be determined by ignoring their velocity. Then, as many as 13. 9% of students experience misconceptions about the law of conservation of matter momentum because of students' assumptions that ignore direction on velocity vector quantities. In other physics concepts, some students are less careful in calculations. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for teachers in designing more meaningful Merdeka curriculum-based learning plans to help students better understand the concepts of momentum and impulse.

Abstract

Abstract: The success of learning physics is supported by proper assessment. The quality of student assessment indicators affects the quality of educational measurement results. The construction of indicators needs to be carried out by the current curriculum, namely the Merdeka Curriculum. The purpose of this study was to construct project assessment indicators in physics learning based on the dimensions of Profil Pelajar Pancasila in phase F. This study used a part of development research with a descriptive quantitative method. The indicators in this project assessment instrument are constructed for project-based physics learning activities. The project assessment indicators are prepared based on the key elements and sub-elements of the dimensions of the Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Assessment indicators are reviewed qualitatively based on construction criteria by experts. The teacher's response in assessing students was analyzed quantitatively using the Quest program to obtain the level of compatibility and information for each indicator. The results of the research based on quantitative analysis using the Quest program show that 70% of the assessment indicators are in a good category, 20% are in a poor category, and 10% are in a bad category.Abstrak: Keberhasilan pembelajaran fisika didukung dengan penilaian yang tepat. Kualitas indikator penilaian siswa memengaruhi kualitas hasil pengukuran pendidikan. Konstruksi indikator perlu dilakukan sesuai dengan kurikulum yang berlaku saat ini, yaitu kurikulum merdeka. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengonstruksi indikator penilaian proyek pada pembelajaran fisika berdasarkan dimensi profil pelajar pancasila pada fase F. Penelitian ini menggunakan bagian dari penelitian pengembangan dengan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Indikator dalam instrumen penilaian proyek ini dikonstruksi untuk kegiatan pembelajaran fisika berbasis proyek. Indikator penilaian proyek disusun berdasarkan elemen kunci dan sub elemen dari dimensi profil pelajar pancasila. Indikator penilaian ditelaah secara kualitatif berdasarkan kriteria konstruksi oleh ahli. Respon guru dalam menilai siswa dianalisis secara kuantitatif menggunakan program Quest untuk mendapatkan tingkat kecocokan dan informasi tiap indikator. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan analisis kuantitatif dengan program Quest menunjukkan bahwa 70% indikator penilaian termasuk kategori baik, 20% indikator penilaian termasuk kategori kurang baik, dan 10% indikator penilaian termasuk kategori tidak baik.
