Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the application of the project-based blended learning method on improving student learning outcomes in social studies learning material for Class IV Economic Activities Semester I at SD Negeri Nglindur, Girisubo District, Gunung Kidul Regency, and (2) determine the effectiveness or not of the use of project based blended learning methods assisted by scrapbook on student learning outcomes in social studies learning material Economic Activities Class IV Semester I at SD Negeri Nglindur, Girisubo District, Gunung Kidul Regency. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The study population is all Grade IV elementary school students at SD Negeri Nglindur in 2023/2024 consisting of 12 students. Data collection using tests, observations, and documentation. The results of this study show that (1) the application of the project-based blended learning method  is effective in improving student learning outcomes in social studies learning material for Class IV Economic Activities in the first semester at SD Negeri Nglindur, Girisubo District, Gunung Kidul Regency, (2) the application of the project-based blended learning method assisted by scrapbook improve student learning outcomes in social studies learning material for Class IV Economic Activities Semester I at SD Negeri Nglindur, District Girisubo, Gunung Kidul Regency.

Abstract

Sikap peduli sosial adalah kesadaran yang tumbuh dalam diri seseorang dari interaksi dengan orang lain yang memiliki rasa empati dan kasih sayang sehingga seseorang memiliki kesadaran untuk membantu orang lain yang membutuhkan. Pembentukan karakter peserta didik merupakan salah satu tugas dan tanggung jawab lembaga pendidikan, salah satunya sekolah dasar. Penanaman nilai-nilai karakter kepada peserta didik harus dilakukan sejak dini. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 4 orang siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Penelitian dilakukan di salah satu lokasi sekolah di kabupaten Gunungkidul. Pendekatan penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif, pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara. Gambaran penanaman sikap peduli sosial dalam penanganan bullying pada siswa dilakukan melalui berbagai peran guru diantaranya sebagai pendidik dan pengajar, guru memberikan bimbingan konseling pada siswa, guru sebagai motivator, Guru sebagai fasilitator, guru sebagai sumber belajar. Berbagai faktor pendukung juga sangat mempengaruhi penanaman sikap peduli sosial pada siswa yaitu pelaksanaan upacara bendera, kegiatan apel pagi, senam sehat bersama, kerja bakti di lingkungan sekolah, melayat tetangga sekolah yang meninggal dunia atau kerabat teman yang meninggal dunia. Dampak dari upaya guru dalam menanamkan sikap peduli sosial pada siswa yaitu sikap peduli sosial yang dimiliki oleh siswa sudah baik.   Social care attitude is the awareness that grows in a person from interaction with others who have a sense of empathy and compassion so that someone has the awareness to help others in need. Character building of students is one of the duties and responsibilities of educational institutions, one of which is elementary schools. Instillation of character values to learners must be done from an early age. The subjects in this study were 4 elementary school grade IV students. The research was conducted at one of the school locations in Gunungkidul district. Research approach with qualitative approach, data collection through observation and interviews. The picture of instilling social care attitudes in handling bullying in students is carried out through various teacher roles including as educators and teachers, teachers providing counseling guidance to students, teachers as motivators, Teachers as facilitators, teachers as learning resources. Various supporting factors also greatly affect the cultivation of social care attitudes in students, namely the implementation of flag ceremonies, morning apple activities, healthy gymnastics together, community service work in the school environment, mourning school neighbors who died or relatives of friends who died. The impact of teachers' efforts in instilling social care attitudes to students is that the social care attitudes possessed by students are good.
