Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keaktifan dan hasil belajar dengan model cooperative learning tipe snowball throwing pada pembelajaran IPS siswa kelas IV semester II SD Negeri Rejowinangun 1 Kota Yogyakarta tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 28orang dan objek penelitiannya adalah keaktifan dan hasil belajar IPS.  Data keaktifan siswa dikumpulkan menggunakan metode observasi , sedangkan data hasil belajar IPS dikumpulkan melalui metode tes yaitu tes hasil belajar. Validitas Instrumen diuji dengan korelasi  product moment sedangkan uji reabilitas menggunakan KR-20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dengan penerapan model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Snowball Throwing pada pembelajaran IPS dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar. Peningkatan keaktifan siswa pada siklus I 63,40% dan pada siklus II 81,91% atau dengan kata lain terjadi peningkatan keaktifan siswa sebesar  18.51%  termasuk dalam kategori aktif. Hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I 72.84% dan pada siklus II 83,26%. Telah terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar IPA sebesar 18,00% termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan data tersebut penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar  IPS siswa

Abstract

This quantitative study was conducted to identify the misconception between social studies and social sciences among pre-service elementary teachers. Data were collected from the subjects (n=122) drawn by cluster sampling in Yogyakarta. Aiken's validity and Cronbach Alpha were then employed to examine the instrument's quality. Collected data were analyzed using descriptive techniques to examine the level of misconception. The popular misconceptions between social studies and social sciences were identified by the criteria developed by Abraham, Grzybowski, Renner, Marek (1992). The results of the study show that there was a greater understanding of social studies and social sciences for the specific fields of geography, anthropology, and politics. Therefore, the main emphasis should be placed on these fields. The fields that were misconceived included economics, geography, and history. The implications of this research will eventually become the basis and guideline for social studies lecturers to give emphases on the fields of study belonging to social studies, distinguishing them from those of social sciences. In addition, each social science discipline adopted into social studies must receive special attention, given the greater level of misconception among the pre-service teachers in these fields.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to determine the increase in activity and resultsactivity with cooperative learning model snowball throwing on learning social studiesclass IV students second semester Elementary School District 1 Rejowinangun schoolYogyakarta year 2013/2014. This study was conducted in two cycles, the subjects inthis study were as many as 28 people and the object of research is the result of learningactivity social studies. Student activity data were collected using the method of observation,while the results of the data gathered through the sosial studies test methodwhich tests learning outcomes. The results show the application of Cooperative LearningModel Type Snowball Throwing in learning social studies can increase activity andlearning Outcomes. Increased activity of students in the first cycle 63.40 % and 81.91% in the second cycle or in other words an increase of 18.51 % active students areincluded in the active category. Student learning outcomes in the first cycle 72.84% and83.26% in the second cycle. There has been an increase in science learning outcomes of18.00 % included in the high category. Based on these data the application of cooperativelearning model Snowball Throwing concluded that learning can enhance the activitysocial studies student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to describe: (1) An overview of the value of the character of nationalism and patriotism that students have, (2) The implementation of the value of character planting nationalism and patriotism, (3) The inhibitory factor and solution carried out in the implementation of the value of character planting nationalism and patriotism on thematic learning with the IPS of grade IV students Elementary School state Singosaren Bantul. This research is qualitative descriptive research. Research data sources are principals, teacher classes, and students. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. These research instruments are observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and documentation. Test the validity of data using an extension of observation, increase persistence, triangulation (source triangulation, technique, and timing), and use reference material. The data analysis techniques in this study used Miles and Huberman analyses consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and withdrawal conclusions. The results showed that (1) the idea of the value of nationalism and patriotism character is that students already have the value of nationalism and patriotism in themselves and also have been able to apply attitudes to the value of the character in everyday life even though not maximally. (2) The implementation of the character value of nationalism and patriotism in the learning of IPS-charged thematic, by inserting the value of the character in the learning materials, using the learning media, using inspirational stories and showing heroic films to motivate students, doing outing class activities in the museum, through school activities and policies such as performing flag ceremonies, singing national songs and local songs, using traditional clothing (3) Inhibitory factor and solution done in the implementation of the value of character planting nationalism and patriotism in the thematic learning with the IPS of grade IV students Elementary School state Singosaren Bantul namely a factor that comes from the self, factors of environmental condition of students who are less conducive, experiencing addiction in the use of gadgets, school facilities that have not been fully fulfilled in support of the to overcome this problem, the solution is to provide direct guidance to the students who have less interest during the process of learning IPS-charged thematic, doing a variety of activities that are performed as a means of meeting with the parents.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: (1) The importance of instilling character values in bold learning, (2) instilling character values in thematic learning with social studies in a bold manner, (3) regulated constraints & solutions in instilling values characters in thematic learning with social studies in a bold manner. The research was conducted at SDN Kepek II Saptosari Gunungkidul for grade IV students (15 students). The research was conducted in January 2021. The data sources were the principal, fourth-grade teachers, parents & students. The data technique uses observation, interview, & documentation techniques. The research instruments were observation, interview, & documentation. Test the validity of the data using input, improve persistence, triangulate (source, technique, & time), & use reference materials. The data analysis technique uses Miles & Huberman analysis which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data retrieval. The results showed that (1) instilling character values is very important so that students have good attitudes & behavior. (2) Instilling character values is done in learning activities & outside learning; character values that have been successfully instilled are religion, the enthusiasm of reading, discipline, responsibility, honesty, environmental care attitude, and social care attitude. (3) Obstacles that inform & the solution is that if the child does not have a smartphone, the children can take & collect assignments at school, the information is forwarded to other students' parents, the teacher visits the student's house, the teacher gives time to arrange assignments until 21.00 WIB, the teacher uses various learning media to help the students understand the material, teacher supervision is limited so that parents include their children in tutoring & TPA activities to support the instilling of character values in children.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SD Negeri Karangwuluh Temon Kulon Progo. Masalah tersebut dapat dirumuskan sebagai berikut “Bagaimanakah penerapan Metode pembelajaran Problem Solving dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPS Siswa Kelas V SD Negeri Karangwuluh Temon Kulon Progo? Tujuan penelitian adalah unuk mendiskripsikan penerapan penerapan Metode pembelajaran Problem Solving dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPS Siswa Kelas V SD Negeri Karangwuluh Temon Kulon Progo. Fokus dalam Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini adalah Penerapan Metode pembelajaran Problem Solving dan Hasil Belajar IPS. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri Karangwuluh Temon Kulon Progo, Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah Observasi dan Tes. Teknik Analisis data adalah Reduksi data, Penyajian data, Penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran Problem Solving dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SD Negeri Karangwuluh Temon Kulon Progo.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini berlatar belakang rendahnya keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Materi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah ekosistem. Penelitian Tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan sesuai dengan model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Proses penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, siklus pertama ada dua kali pembelajaran dan siklus kedua ada satu kali pembelajaran. Tahapan pelaksanaan setiap siklus melalui perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Objek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri Kiyaran 2 Cangkringan tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik mengalami peningkatan dari setiap pelaksanaan siklusnya. Nilai rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada pra siklus adalah 65,71. Pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 74,29 dan pada siklus II juga mengalami peningkatan menjadi 87,14. Selain berpengaruh pada kemampuan berpikir peserta didik, penerapan PBL juga berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Pada pra siklus nilai rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik adalah 65,43. Pada siklus I dengan rata-rata 77,57 dan siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 85,71. Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan PBL antara pra siklus, siklus I, dan siklus II mengalami peningkatan terhadap kemampuan berpikir serta hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that there are still many students who are bored and less interested in learning social studies. This is the basis for the need for innovative learning media so that students are interested and enthusiastic when studying social studies. The aim of this research is to determine the improvement in social studies learning outcomes in elementary schools and how to use Kahoot media in social studies learning. The research carried out was Classroom Action Research (PTK). Data collection using test and observation methods. The results of this research show that there is an increase in the average learning outcomes from 77 in cycle I and cycle II of 83. Apart from that, the research results show that children are happier and more enthusiastic in learning social studies, this can be seen from the students' enthusiasm in solving questions using Kahoot. Based on this data, it can be concluded that the Kahoot game can improve social studies learning outcomes regarding getting to know Asean countries for class VI students at SD Negeri Berbah 2 Sleman.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan keaktifan peserta didik pada muatan mata pelajaran IPS kelas V SD Negeri Godean 1 tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran Teka-Teki Silang (TTS) berbasis ajaran Tamansiswa Tri N yaitu niteni, nirokake, nambahi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei 2023. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VB SD Negeri Godean 1 berjumlah 31. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi teknik observasi dan rubrik dokumentasi.. Dokumentasi dilakukan dengan cara mengambil foto pada saat pembelajaran berlangsung. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran Teka-Teki Silang (TTS) berbasis ajaran Tamansiswa Tri N dapat meningkatkan keaktifan peserta didik. Hal ini tercermin dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang mendorong siswa untuk aktif dan mengeksplorasi diri. siswa memperoleh pengalaman langsung dan bermakna.

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPS di sekolah dasar mengkaji seperangkat peristiwa, fakta, konsep, dan generalisasi yang berkaitan dengan isu sosial. IPS merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran akademis yang dirancang dan dilaksanakan untuk mengembangkan cinta lingkungan pada warga negara Indonesia mulai dari tingkat usia dini, SD, SMP, SMA, bahkan perguruan tinggi. Pembentukan karakter peduli lingkungan dapat dimulai dari lingkungan sekolah dengan menjaga kebersihan sekolah. Karakter kepedulian lingkungan pada pembelajaran IPS dapat lebih berhasil apabila dalam penerapannya menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, interaktif, komunikatif, dan kreatif. Adapun pendekatan tersebut melalui penerapan model project based learning. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model project based learning pada mupel IPS terhadap penguatan kepedulian siswa pada lingkungan. Subjek penelitian ini 22 siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penerapan model project based learning pada mupel IPS untuk membina siswa agar memiliki pengertian, kesadaran, sikap, dan perilaku yang rasional serta bertanggung jawab tentang pengaruh timbal balik antara warga sekolah dengan lingkungan sekolah dalam berbagai aspek kegiatan. Adapun kegiatan tersebut antara lain: 1. Bersyukur atas karunia Alloh dengan bersikap ramah lingkungan, 2. Membiasakan menjaga kebersihan lingkungan, 3. Membiasakan rasa gotong royong, 4. Membiasakan sikap disiplin.
