Abstract

This study's issue is how to apply Friedman's theory of justice to a lawsuit involving joint property in the form of song royalties, which is based on the Virgoun and Inara Rusli case.  This study's goal is to analyze and assess how Friedman's theory of justice applies to a case that has never happened before in Indonesia (based on Court Ruling No. 1662/Pdt.G/2023/PA.JB). In order to conduct this research, the normative method is employed. The literature review includes primary legal materials such as the Civil Code, Law No. 16 of 2019 Marriage Law Jo. Law No. 1 of 1974, Constitutional Court’s Ruling No. 69/PUU-XIII/2015, Copyright Law No. 28 of 2014, Virgoun and Inara Rusli Case Study (based on Court Ruling No. 1662/Pdt.G/2023/PA.JB). The theory of Lawrence M. Friedman states that because law is static, interference with its substance and structure happens. The external social sphere is the factor that offers input. Aspects of justice for the parties should be taken into consideration when dividing jointly acquired property. Whether or not intellectual property rights can be included in jointly acquired property does not depend on whose name the copyright is registered under. The first and most crucial thing to know is whether or not the property was acquired during a marriage.

Abstract

This research aims to study the degradation of advocates' immunity rights in Indonesia with special emphasis on Article 27 Paragraph (3) and Paragraph (4). This research is normative juridical in nature by using secondary data such as laws and regulations, court decisions, and other references to see the requirements of immunity rights, types of degradation caused by the Information and Transactions Electronic (ITE) Law, and factors that hinder and support immunity rights. The results of this research analysis are: First of all, the terms of advocates' immunity rights, which include the presence or absence of criminal and civil legal actions. If advocates carry out their work in an ethical manner, they will be protected, but ethical violations will be submitted to the Advocates Organization Code Council. Second, the cause of the reduction of advocates' immunity rights caused by Article 27 Paragraph (3) dan Paragraph (4) of the ITE Law identified that the effect of criminal and civil penalties can reduce the immunity rights of advocates in performing their professional duties. Third, the elements that hinder and support advocates' immunity rights are the functions of investigators, public prosecutors, judges, and public opinion.

Abstract

Student understanding of the material is still relatively low, one of the causes being the impractical use of learning media that leverages information and communication technology. One utilization of information and communication technology is the development of Android-based interactive learning media on the application of electronic systems in automotive technology, a core subject in the automotive engineering expertise program at vocational high schools. This research aims to improve the understanding of students regarding the subject matter. The research method uses R&D (research and development) with the ADDIE model, consisting of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The instruments used are: (1) The product, which is an Android-based interactive learning media application called SAC, focusing on the application of electronic systems in automotive technology; (2) The product is deemed suitable based on the Content Validity Index (CVI) score from media experts, which is 0.92, and the Percentage of Agreement (PA) of 96%, while the CVI score from material experts is 0.96 and PA 98%; (3) The product trial results show a high level of effectiveness based on the Independent Sample t Test for N-gain Score with a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference in effectiveness between the experimental and control groups; and (4) The reproducibility coefficient (Kr) and scalability coefficient (Ks) test results are 95% and 90%, respectively, indicating that the Android-based interactive learning media on the application of electronic systems in automotive technology is very practical.
