Abstract

Background: The Maghrib Mengaji program has long been a Muslim tradition that fosters Qur’anic literacy and moral development. Its continued existence plays a vital role in strengthening community-based religious education, particularly for young children. Objective: This study aims to describe the implementation of the Maghrib Mengaji program as a medium for Qur’an learning among early childhood students. Method: A qualitative descriptive approach was used, with the research conducted at TPQ Al Ittihad, Cirebon Regency. Data were collected through observation and interviews with program organizers and participants. Result: The findings reveal insights into the history and implementation of the Maghrib Mengaji program, its roles and benefits for early childhood Qur’an learning, and the obstacles encountered during its execution. Conclusion: The Maghrib Mengaji program serves as an effective platform for introducing Qur’anic learning and strengthening children’s spiritual values. However, challenges such as limited resources and scheduling conflicts remain to be addressed. Contribution: This study contributes to the understanding of community-based Islamic education and provides a framework for improving Qur’anic learning strategies for early childhood through the Maghrib Mengaji tradition.

Abstract

Technological developments make education in Indonesia have to accept todays’s technological learning change. However, in technological progress, there are still many educators who are still unfamiliar with technology that can be used for learning media in schools, such as the lack of adewuate technology development training in classroom learning to develop teacher abilities that can be used in learning activities. The pupose of the activity is to develop the ability of teacher to create creative learning media in school using power point. The implementation method is the planning stage, the preparation stage, and the evaluation stage. Based on observation during the training, the teacher showed an entusiastic attitude because this PowerPoint media was a new thing in learning at Kinderganten Plus Tunas Rimba. Teachers got new knowledge about using PowerPoint as an effective technology –based learning media that is interesting and fun for children. This activity is a form of training for teacher in carrying out learning activities and teaching supporting media for children’s online learning.

Abstract

In the industrial era 4.0, all sectors are required to create new innovations, including education. However, the facts on the ground show that learning is still limited and monotonous. Meanwhile, early childhood is stimulated through interesting and fun activities. This training activity aims to provide new insights on the preparation of learning tools by combining creative dance learning. The method of implementation is done by providing material and direct practice. The number of participants who took part in the training activities were 6 educators and 3 students. The results of the training stated that all participants were able to follow all stages of activities and prepare daily lesson plans with creative dance lessons. Thus, it can be concluded that this training can have a positive impact on teachers so that they are motivated to develop lesson plans
