Abstract

Islamic Boarding School are non-formal educational institutions that have the aim of forming students who behave in accordance with applicable value and norm. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive research design. The aim of this research is: (1) To find out the application of rules and regulations at the Lubabuth Tholibin Islamic Boarding School Sangubanyu village; (2) to find out the condition of santri discipline after impelementing the rules at the Lubabuth Tholib Islamic Boarding School Sangubanyu village. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusion. Based on the research, it can be concluded that implementation of rules and regulations in building student discipline at the Lubabuth Tholibin Boarding Scholl with several implementations, among others: introduce rules especially for new students, set an example in obeying the rules, providing transportation as a means of scholl pick-up and drop-off, entering into an MOU with the school, give punishment to student who violate the rules. The disciplinary conditions of female students after implementing the following rules and regulations: growing students awareness of time discipline, high enthusiasm for reciting the koran, islamic boarding scholl students rarely hang out during school hours and islamic boarding students do not borrow vehicles from the local community

Abstract

This research aims to explore the experience of using the puzzle method in learning children with hyperactive autism (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder/ ADHD) in a special education environment. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method to explore the perspectives of hyperactive autistic children and educators regarding the implementation and impact of using this method on their learning. The aim of this research is a puzzle model learning method that can help restore the focus of attention of ADHD children. The research subjects consisted of one hyperactive autistic child and two teachers at the Putra Manunggal Gombong Special School (SLB). The data collection technique used is learning observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The background to this research is that this observation provides in-depth insight into the potential and limitations of the puzzle method as a learning approach for hyperactive autistic children in a special education context, as well as the application of methods that focus on improving the quality of social interactions and children's independence in an educational environment. The results of the research show that the use of the puzzle method can increase the involvement of hyperactive autistic children in learning, improve the focus of the child's attention and increase the child's social interactions with other friends. In implementing this method, there are challenges that also arise, such as the need to meet children's individual needs and the integration of the method with the special education curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of transformational leadership by the school principal, particularly in the dimension of inspirational motivation, and its impact on the quality of learning at MTs Salafiyah Wonoyoso Kebumen. Employing a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method, data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis followed the Miles & Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the principal effectively applied transformational leadership by developing a clear vision grounded in Islamic values, serving as a role model, and fostering both teachers and students. The positive impacts observed include changes in teacher behavior and self-confidence, increased student motivation and discipline, as well as improved academic achievement. In conclusion, transformational leadership in the dimension of inspirational motivation significantly contributes to enhancing the quality of learning in a traditional Islamic boarding school setting.

Abstract

This research aim to know the design and application of video learning in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning, to analyze the response of deaf students to video learning-based PAI, and to identify supporting and inhibiting factors for its implementation at SMPLB Negeri Tamanwinangun Kebumen. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The research site is at SMPLB Negeri Tamanwinangun Kebumen. The research subjects included PAI maple teachers and deaf students in grade IX B. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing to conclusions. The results of the study show that the application of video learning is specifically designed as a solution to verbal communication barriers in deaf students. Video design must include Indonesian Sign Language (BISINDO), text/subtitles, and interesting visualizations so that the material is easy to understand. The response of deaf students to this media was positive, shown by increased learning motivation and understanding of PAI concepts. The main supporting factors are the activeness and creativity of students and school support, while obstacles include limited facilities and infrastructure and difficulty finding video teaching materials that are in accordance with the material and needs of learners.
