Abstract

This study aims to analyze research trends and knowledge mapping on Islamic Education, Learning Intensity, and Students’ Religiosity during 2000–2025, with a particular emphasis on their implications for democracy in education. Using a bibliometric approach with data sourced from Scopus, 115 journal articles were analyzed through Biblioshiny for R to identify annual scientific production, leading authors, influential journals, collaboration networks, and thematic developments. The findings reveal a significant increase in publications after 2019, with dominant contributions from social sciences and humanities, and highlight interconnected themes such as religiosity, spirituality, ethics, and global issues like digital transformation and moral crises. The novelty of this study lies in integrating bibliometric mapping with democratic values in education, showing that Islamic education not only strengthens students’ religiosity but also promotes civic values such as tolerance, justice, and inclusivity. These insights provide both theoretical and practical contributions for policymakers, educators, and curriculum developers in shaping effective Islamic education that is relevant to global challenges and supportive of democratic principles in education

Abstract

Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi merupakan salah satu jalan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran bagi seorang guru. Sehingga untuk dapat mewujudkan hal tersebut, guru perlu memahami dan memiliki kemampuan tentang Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) yang merupakan pengembangan dari Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK). TPACK merupakan model pembelajaran pada abad 21 yang menuntut pendidik untuk dapat mengimplementasikan teknologi ke dalam suatu proses pembelajaran. TPACK terdiri dari tiga unsur pokok yaitu teknologi, pedagogi, dan content (materi ajar). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh yang signifikan antara status terhadap kemampuan TPACK guru PAI tingkat SMA/SMK di Kecamatan Magetan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang kemudian didukung dengan survey kepada guru. Metode analisis data dilakukan dengan cara pertama data reduction, display data/penyajian data, dan verification/penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa status guru pendidikan agama Islam bersertifikasi tingkat SMA/SMK di Magetan berpengaruh baik terharap penerapan TPACK dalam pembelajaran. Hal tersebut berdasarkan kepada survey dengan indicator kompetensi guru bersertifikasi, yang menunjukkan sembilan guru mendapatkan skor dalam kategori tinggi/menguasi enam kompetensi guru bersertifikasi yang berdasarkan Undang UndangRepublik Indonesia Nomer 14 tahun 2005 pasal 8 dan kompetensi TPACK, dimana guru mendapatkan jumlah skor antara 60 – 45 point yang berada dalam kategori ahli. Untuk membuktikan hasil survey yang telah diisi oleh guru, dilakukan komfirmasi hasil survey dengan melakukan wawancara dengan kepala sekolah 6 sekolah tingkat SMA.SMK di Magetan dan guru pendidikan agama Islam yang berstatus sertifikasi, observasi pelaksaan pembelajaran, dan menganalisis document adsministrasi pembelajaran.

Abstract

Prophetic thinking from the perspectives of Kuntowijoyo and Musa Asy’arie needs to be re-examined to ensure its relevance in strengthening multicultural awareness through Islamic education strategies in the contemporary era. This study employs a qualitative method with a library research approach using descriptive-analytical analysis by examining various scholarly sources related to prophetic thinking and its application in Islamic education. The findings indicate that prophetic thinking which grounded in three core dimensions, namely humanization, liberation, and transcendence, as well as three fundamental principles : integrative, reflective, and transformational can serve as a moral and spiritual paradigm for developing inclusive and multicultural Islamic education. Educational strategies based on prophetic values can be internalized through curriculum design, teacher role modeling, and learning processes oriented toward the common good (maslahah) of the community. The formulation of an integrated framework between prophetic thinking and Islamic education thus represents an applicative strategy for fostering tolerant, just, and civilized multicultural awareness within a global society.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the deep learning approach as an integrative strategy between the Merdeka Curriculum and the Muhammadiyah Education Curriculum at SMP Muhammadiyah Program Khusus Kottabarat Surakarta. The research focuses on the planning, implementation, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors in the application of deep learning within integrated learning practices. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach in the form of field research, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The data were analyzed through stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, supported by data triangulation. The findings indicate that the deep learning approach is capable of systematically integrating the Merdeka Curriculum and the Muhammadiyah Education Curriculum through learning planning based on four core components of deep learning, the implementation of contextual and reflective learning methods, and interdisciplinary collaboration grounded in Islamic values. Supporting factors for the implementation of deep learning include the availability of learning technologies, teachers’ quality and transformative mindsets, and a collaborative culture among teachers. In contrast, inhibiting factors include differences in teachers’ mindsets, the diversity of students’ characteristics and literacy levels, and limitations in instructional time allocation. The novelty of this study lies in the finding that deep learning functions as a pedagogical bridge that not only integrates academic achievement and Islamic character formation but also humanizes the educational process in a holistic and progressive manner.
