Abstract

Astini Selay NIM.2101140045 with the title "The Effect of Using GeoGebra Interactive Learning Media on Mathematics Learning Outcomes of Fifth Grade Students at UPTD SDI Bertingkat Perumnas 3". The problem in this study is to test the significant influence of the use of GeoGebra interactive learning media on Mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students at UPTD SDI Bertingkat Perumnas 3 Kupang City with the aim of improving student learning outcomes in mathematics learning about calculating the area and perimeter of flat shapes. This study uses a Quasi Experimental Design research type with a quantitative approach to the research design of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were 28 fifth grade students of UPTD SDI Bertingkat Perumnas 3 Kupang City. The sampling technique used was nonprobability sampling where the samples taken were 14 fifth grade students of A as the experimental class with treatment, and fifth grade students of B as the control class. Data collection techniques and instruments were questionnaires and test instruments. The research instrument was a test in the form of a pretest and posttest to measure learning outcomes. Before use, the instrument was first tested for validity and reliability. After data collection, it was analyzed and used to test the hypothesis. This research was conducted at the UPTD SDI Bertingkat Perumnas 3, Kupang City, for fifth-grade students. The results of the hypothesis testing, using a paired samples t-test, showed a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.001. This indicates that at the 2-tailed significance level (<0.05). In accordance with the decision-making basis, this is because the sig. value (2-tailed) <0.05 indicates a significant difference between the learning outcomes in the pretest and posttest data. Based on the above research results, it can be concluded that the use of GeoGebra interactive learning media has a significant effect on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at UPTD SDI Bertingkat Perumnas 3, Kupang City.

Abstract

The aim of this PKM activity is to help high school mathematics teachers in South Central Timor (TTS) to create PTK-based written work and be able to publish it. Meanwhile, the background for holding this PKM is because the majority of high school mathematics teachers have difficulty getting promoted because they are hampered by published scientific papers. The specific target to be achieved through PKM activities for the community (teachers) is to improve teachers' skills and abilities in creating and publishing PTK-based written work. The methods used in this activity are lecture, discussion, question and answer, demonstration, and practice. Providing material I, namely what is PTK, characteristics of PTK, systematics of written work based on PTK and how to make a good PTK. The second material is about the implementation of PTK writing which is stated through filling in a reflection form to find PTK problems. Next is the final material regarding the publication of Scientific Works. This activity went well and received a positive response from the activity participants

Abstract

Based on interviews and needs analysis conducted at UPTD SD Inpres Naikoten 2, Kupang City, ratio material was identified as one of the topics most difficult for sixth-grade students to understand. The use of conventional printed textbooks has led to low learning enthusiasm and weak numeracy skills among students. This study aims to develop an Android-based multimodal teaching material that is valid, practical, and effective in improving students’ numeracy skills in learning ratios. The research employed a development method using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection instruments included observation, interviews, questionnaires, and learning outcome tests, with data analyzed using descriptive percentages and qualitative analysis. Validation results showed feasibility scores of 90.6% from design experts and 85.6% from subject matter experts. Student responses to the teaching material reached 84% in the small group and 84.25% in the large group, while the mathematics teacher's response was 80.4%. Product effectiveness was indicated by an N-Gain score of 0.75 (high category) in the small group and 0.58 (moderate category) in the large group. The study concludes that Android-based multimodal teaching material is highly feasible, practical, and effective for teaching ratio concepts in mathematics, and contributes significantly to improving elementary students' numeracy skills.
