Abstract

Masid Bafinatul Iman merupakan masjid yang ada di Desa Bumi Agung Kota Pagaralam. Berdasarkan data BPS Kota Pagaralam tahun 2020, jumlah penduduk Desa Bumi Agung sebanyak 3.746 penduduk jiwa dan jumlah jamaah masjid Bafinatul Iman cenderung meningkat setiap tahunnnya. Berdasarkan survey lapangan yang telah dilakukan oleh tim PKM ke Majid Bafinatul Iman Desa Bumi Agung dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa kondisi Masjid Bafinatul Iman Desa Bumi Agung saat ini sudah tidak maksimal dalam memenuhi kebutuhan warga Desa Bumi Agung dalam melaksanakan kegiatan Spiritualnya baik itu dalam segi kenyamanan maupun kapistas masjid. Hal ini menyebabkan perlunya peningkatan kapasitas dan fasilitas masjid. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah ini memberikan bantuan teknis perencanaan desain masjid. Tahapan yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini terbagi menjadi empat tahapan diantaranya survey lapangan, membuat gambar rencana masjid, menyusun RAB, dan tahapan terakhir adalah sosialisasi ke pengurus masjid. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini mengahasilkan susunan dokumen perencanaan Renovasi Masjid Bafinatul Iman berupa DED serta RAB yang nantinya akan digunakan sebagai acuan oleh pengurus Masjid Bafinatul Iman dalam proses pembangunan dan penjaringan donator dalam pembangunan Renovasi Masjid Bafinatul Iman.

Abstract

Railway track subsidence at Km 206+100–Km 206+560 of the Gilas Emplacement, Divre IV Tanjung Karang, is caused by the interaction between saturated soil conditions, high groundwater levels, and an underperforming drainage system. Field investigations show that the 0–5 m soil layer is dominated by high-plasticity clay, while the 5–10 m layer consists of sandy clay, and the layer below 10 m is silty sand. Geoelectrical data indicate groundwater levels as shallow as 1.5 m below the rail head, causing soil saturation and resulting in pumping effects under dynamic train loading. This accelerates the formation of slip surfaces and decreases slope safety factors (SF < 1.5). This study evaluates drainage improvements by designing an open drainage channel system. Calculations show that the planned channel capacity is 2.6 m³/s, exceeding the runoff discharge in Area A1 (2.5 m³/s). Existing channel dimensions are also adequate to convey runoff. Additionally, subsurface drainage and vertical drain systems are required to lower groundwater levels and maintain slope stability. The recommended HDPE pipe diameter is 14 inches, adjusted to field availability.

Abstract

Clay soils characterized as soft soils often cause problems due to their weak bearing capacity and long consolidation time. Rice husk ash, which is one of the wastes derived from burning rice stalks and leaves, can be used to increase the bearing capacity of the soil. This research analyzed the effect of adding rice husk ash as a mixture in soil stabilization at 0%, 8%, 12% and 16%. Based on laboratory testing using soil samples from Jalan Merdeka RT 14 Bawah Alai Balai Agung Village, Sekayu District, South Sumatra. Bawah Alai, Balai Agung Urban Village, Sekayu District, South Sumatra. It is concluded that the effect of rice husk ash makes the shear angle of the soil smaller or reduced. The highest shear angle was obtained when the addition of 8% rice husk ash amounted to 9.373 kPa. When adding 12% and 16% rice husk ash, the shear angle of the soil decreased to 4.651 kPa and 4.288 kPa, respectively. The addition of variation in rice husk ash affects the cohesion value (c), overall it can be said that the value of soil shear angle increases with the lower variation in the soil mixture.
