Abstract

The number of cases of fires and accidents caused by the leakage and explosion of LPG gas cylinders is a frightening thing for most people who use LPG gas. There are various factors that cause explosions or fires on LPG, including leaks in gas hoses, gas cylinders or gas regulators that are not installed properly. In addition, the factor of human error (human error) can also be a factor in the explosion of LPG gas. One example is forgetting to turn off the stove after finishing cooking. As technology and IoT (Internet of Things) develop, an IoT (Internet of Things)-based Android application has been developed. This application can monitor and control gas stoves remotely. If there is a leak and fire on the gas stove, the IoT (Internet of Things) system can turn off the gas stove automatically or be controlled manually. Keywords : Android App, Microcontroller, Internet of Things, Wemos D1 Mini

Abstract

This study aims to integrate the concepts of validity, reliability, trustworthiness, and authenticity in maintaining the quality of scientific research in both quantitative and qualitative approaches. These four concepts play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, credibility, and originality of research findings. This study employs a library research method by analyzing various literatures related to research methodology. The results show that validity and reliability are fundamental in quantitative research to guarantee the precision and consistency of instruments, while trustworthiness and authenticity are essential in qualitative research to assess credibility, transferability, dependability, confirmability, and the authenticity of participants’ experiences. The integration of these four concepts can be achieved through a mixed-methods approach that combines empirical strength with reflective depth to enhance both the accuracy and the honesty of data representation. In conclusion, validity, reliability, trustworthiness, and authenticity should not merely be seen as technical procedures but as ethical foundations to ensure the integrity and credibility of scientific research.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to formulate strategic steps to optimize the use of digital technology in supporting the business sustainability of PT Albilad Internasional Group, a provider of Umrah and Hajj travel services in Palembang. Research Methodology: This research employed a qualitative approach conducted at PT Albilad Internasional Group. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observations, and document analyses. The data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative techniques to explore the contextual challenges and opportunities related to digital transformation. Results: The findings indicate that PT Albilad Internasional Group has begun adopting digital innovations, such as social media for marketing activities and Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) for non-cash payments. However, its implementation remains suboptimal due to the absence of a structured digital strategy and limited customer adoption of digital systems. This study proposes several strategic recommendations, including strengthening social media management, enhancing digital communication strategies, and increasing customer engagement with digital payment services. Conclusions: The study concludes that although PT Albilad Internasional Group has gradually integrated digital marketing and payment technologies, further optimization is necessary to enhance competitiveness and ensure long-term business sustainability in an increasingly digitalized travel industry. Limitations: This study focused on a single company and utilized a qualitative design, which may limit the generalizability of the findings. Contributions: This study contributes to the academic literature and provides practical insights for travel agencies seeking to improve their digital marketing and payment systems.
