Abstract

To strive for increasing social welfare can be started by Building the idea of a Social Justice Constitution based on the values of Islamic teachings. This research aims to examine the normative basis of social justice in the Indonesian constitution, Identify relevant Islamic values in social justice and Offer the construction of Islamic-based social justice in a constitutional context. The type of research used is Normative legal research using a statute approach and Literature Review (library research). The results of the study show that constitutionally, social justice in Indonesia is a fundamental principle in state life. The principle of social justice for all Indonesian people is the philosophical foundation for the state to realize social justice. Islam makes social justice an effort to eliminate both economic and social disparities and ensure that everyone has equal standing and treatment as well as access to all that is the right of citizens. The construction of a social justice constitution can be attempted first, through the Integration of Social Justice in all branches of state power; second, constitutional provisions with affirmative action guarantees for vulnerable groups; third, management of natural resources and state wealth for the greatest possible prosperity of the people; Fourth, the state is responsible for basic services for a dignified life; Fifth, a monitoring mechanism in the implementation of social justice policies in all sectors; Sixth, the integration of local wisdom and/or religious values in social justice policies. The construction of a social justice constitution, when viewed from an Islamic perspective, will be in line with the principles of Al-'Adl (justice) and Al-Maslahah (public benefit). In addition, social justice can be in line with the objectives of Islamic law to protect religion, protect the soul, protect the mind, protect descendants, and protect property.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This community service activity is motivated by the low level of legal literacy and preparedness among students in preventing sexual violence against women and children in educational settings. The focus of this activity is to enhance students’ understanding and attitudes through a more participatory and contextual learning approach. The objective of this activity is to improve students’ legal literacy and preparedness in addressing and preventing cases of sexual violence. The method employed is experiential learning, implemented through several stages, including a pre-test to measure initial understanding, delivery of legal materials, interactive discussions, and learning simulations. The results indicate a significant improvement in students’ understanding, as evidenced by a decrease in the number of students in the low category from 16 to 4 and an increase in the high category from 0 to 16 students. In addition, improvements were observed in the affective aspect, particularly in students’ courage to reject and report acts of violence, as well as the development of empathy toward victims. In conclusion, the experiential learning approach is effective in enhancing students’ legal literacy and preparedness, while also supporting the strengthening of a Child-Friendly School culture by encouraging students to act as agents of prevention in creating a safe and violence-free educational environment. ABSTRAK Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih rendahnya literasi hukum dan kesiapsiagaan siswa dalam mencegah kekerasan seksual terhadap perempuan dan anak di lingkungan pendidikan. Fokus kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman dan sikap siswa melalui pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih partisipatif dan kontekstual. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan literasi hukum serta kesiapsiagaan siswa dalam menghadapi dan mencegah kasus kekerasan seksual. Metode yang digunakan adalah experiential learning yang dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu pre-test untuk mengukur pemahaman awal, penyampaian materi hukum, diskusi interaktif, serta simulasi pembelajaran. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa yang signifikan, ditandai dengan penurunan jumlah siswa pada kategori rendah dari 16 menjadi 4 siswa dan peningkatan kategori tinggi dari 0 menjadi 16 siswa. Selain itu, terjadi peningkatan pada aspek afektif, yaitu keberanian siswa dalam menolak dan melaporkan kekerasan serta tumbuhnya sikap empatik terhadap korban. Simpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah bahwa pendekatan experiential learning efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi hukum dan kesiapsiagaan siswa, serta mendukung penguatan budaya Sekolah Ramah Anak melalui peran aktif siswa sebagai agen pencegahan dalam menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang aman dan bebas kekerasan.
