Abstract

This study aims to analyze the pedagogical competence of teachers at SDN 37 Pekanbaru, focusing On the challenges faced and solutions that can be applied. The methods used 1n this study were field observation and in-depth interviews with teachers and principals. The results of the analysis indicate that the pedagogical competence of teachers still faces various challenges, including a lack of understanding of innovative learning methods, limitations in the use of educational technology, and low student learning motivation. In addition, environmental factors and parental support also play an important role in the learning process. To overcome these challenges, this study recommends several solutions, such as ongoing training for teachers on creative teaching methods, improving technology facilities in schools. and parental involvement programs in children's education. Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of the Education Management Information System (EMIS) in realizing data transparency and accountability at the Tahfizul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School in Sungai Pinang, identify operational obstacles in its implementation, and determine strategies and future prospects in strengthening EMIS-based governance towards the principles of good governance. Using a qualitative approach, the study was conducted through direct observation and in-depth interviews with the head of the Islamic boarding school, EMIS operators, and administrative staff. Data collection referred to semi-structured guidelines to capture experiences, challenges, and perceptions of the system. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions based on the Moleong model. The results indicate that EMIS is effective in increasing transparency through open data access and strengthening accountability through verified digital documentation. However, its implementation is hampered by five problems: system disruptions during unannounced maintenance, limited operator competency, weak internal coordination in document collection, inadequate technological infrastructure, and minimal outreach and mentoring from the Ministry of Religious Affairs. These findings confirm that the success of EMIS depends not only on system availability, but also on institutional capacity, infrastructure support, and synergy between central policies and field realities. Thus, EMIS has the potential to become an effective governance instrument if these operational constraints can be addressed systematically and sustainably.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of flowcharts as a strategic instrument in improving the performance of educational organizations, with a scope covering administrative, academic, and curriculum development aspects. Through a qualitative literature study approach to academic sources (journals, books, quality guides) published between 2010 and 2025, it was found that the systematic application of flowcharts can simplify procedures, reduce redundancy, minimize procedural errors, and accelerate responses to change. Key findings indicate that educational organizations that integrate flowcharts into their operational governance tend to be more transparent, accountable, and adaptive to the dynamics of the modern educational environment. In conclusion, flowcharts are not merely technical tools, but rather essential managerial strategies in the transformation of educational organizations towards process-based governance. The implication is that educational institutions are advised to adopt flowcharts as an integral part of their quality management systems and integrate them into digital platforms for real-time updates.
