Abstract

Perlunya alokasi sumberdaya air (irigasi) pada lahan pertanian terutama tanaman padi terkait dengan kinerjapengelolaan air irigasi pada level usahatani yang masih jauh dari optimal, bahkan cenderung masih boros, sementaraitu kehilangan air yang terjadi di saluran irigasi juga sulit di tekan. Kondisi ini merupakan salah satu penyebab utamarendahnya realisasi areal tanam dan panen padi. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air irigasi debit yang tersedia haruscukup untuk disalurkan ke setiap saluran sampai kepetakan sawah. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan pengukuran debitagar penyaluran air efektif dan efisien.Penelitian ini dilakukan di daerah irigasi Kaiti Samo dengan metode observasi lapangan. Data primerdiperoleh dari hasil observasi dan pengukuran langsung di lokasi penelitian, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dariinstansi terkait. Dari data-data tersebut kemudian dianalisis untuk memperoleh hasil evaluasi terhadap kebutuhan airpada tanaman padi.Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai efisiensi pada saluran primer sebesar 84,51%, efisiensi pada saluransekunder sebesar 76,29%, efisiensi pada saluran tersier sebesar 73,04%. Dari efisiensi saluran tersebut diperolehefisiensi total saluran sebesar 47,09%. Maka efisiensi total saluran irigasi Kaiti Samo tergolong dalam kondisi baik.Dari hasil perhitungan analisis kebutuhan air irigasi dengan ketersediaan air irigasi, diperoleh nilai kebutuhan airirigasi lebih kecil dari air yang tersedia, maka untuk saat ini kebutuhan air irigasi Kaiti Samo masih mencukupi denganpola tanam padi-padi-palawija dan jumlah lahan pertanian 400 Hektar.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve student learning outcomes in social studies for fifth-grade students at MIS Harisma Pulo Padang through the implementation of audio-visual media. The researcher involved 11 students in two systematically designed learning cycles. In the first cycle, audio-visual media was introduced to the students to provide a basic understanding of the material being taught. In the second cycle, the use of audio-visual media was reinforced to optimize its application and solidify student comprehension. Learning outcome data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests, as well as structured classroom observations. The research results indicate that the implementation of audio-visual media has a significant impact on improving student achievement in social studies. Data analysis from the first cycle showed that 64% of students achieved the passing criteria, while 36% did not. However, after reinforcing the use of audio-visual media in the second cycle, the percentage of students meeting the passing criteria increased significantly to 91%, with only 9% not achieving the criteria. This significant improvement demonstrates that the use of audio-visual media is highly effective in enhancing the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at MIS Harisma Pulo Padang. Therefore, this research contributes to the development of more interactive and effective teaching methods, particularly in social studies, and it is hoped that these methods can be more widely implemented in other schools.

Abstract

Coffee is one of the plantation commodities in Indonesia which has quite high economic value among other plantation commodities such as cocoa and tea. Ulubelu District is one of the largest coffee producing areas in Lampung Province with a land area of 7,549 hectares with a production capacity of 4,970 tons/year which has the potential to produce 7.8 tons/year of coffee fruit skin waste. So there is a need for a solution to process coffee fruit skin waste into a product that has sales value and use value for the community. The aim of this community service activity is as an alternative to increasing community knowledge and skills in utilizing local potential into local products. The method applied in this service is to carry out several stages such as pre-activity, outreach, implementation and evaluation of activities. The result of carrying out this service activity is an increase in the community's knowledge and skills in utilizing and processing the potential of coffee fruit skin waste into healthy and quality compost. Apart from that, the aim of carrying out this service is to create a new business community so that it can improve community welfare from the community's ability to utilize local potential into local products that have marketable value.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Kesehatan merupakan hal yang sering terabaikan dan kita akan  merasakan betapa besar keberadaannya saat kita kehilangan nikmat kesehatan tersebut. Kesehatan bukanlah segala-galanya akan tetapi segala yang kita miliki tidak akan berarti apa-apa tanpa adanya kesehatan. Derajat kesehatan dapat dicapai melalui upaya-upaya perbaikan sanitasi lingkungan, pengendalian dan pemberantasan penyakit menular, pendidikan kesehatan, pengorganisasian pelayanan atau perawatan kesehatan serta pengembangan unsur-unsur sosial untuk menjamin taraf kehidupan yang layak. Faktor lingkungan yang dapat menimbulkan gangguan kesehatan seperti polusi udara, perubahan iklim dan bencana alam, sampah, kualitas air yang buruk, masalah infrastruktur, penyakit yang disebabkan oleh mikroba, dan bahan kimia berbahaya. Terkait hal tersebut perlu dilakukan upaya pendekatan pada masyarakat. Mengukur pemahaman pengelolaan sampah, aksi membuang sampah dan memfasilitasi tong sampah pada mahasiswa Wargadi Gedong Meneng Baru Kecamatan Rajabasa Kota Bandar Lampung. Kegiatan Pengabdian ini dilakukan pada tanggal 10 Februari 2024 yaitu Diikuti sebanyak 30 orang warga di RT 04 dan 06 Kelurahan Gedong Meneng Kecamatan Rajabasa Kota Bandar Lampung. dengan metode membagikan kuisioner Pengetahuan tentang “Pengelolaan sampah  rumah tangga berupa edukasi memilah sampah organik dan non- organik, aksi membuang sampah di tong sampah serta memfasilitasi tong  sampah” sebanyak dua kali saat sebelum dan sesudah diberikan penyuluhan. hasil kueisioner sebelum dilakukan penyuluhan (pre test) dan sesudah dilakukan penyuluhan (post test). Sejumlah 66,6 % mahasiswa Wargamengalami peningkatan pengetahuan tentang pemilahan sampah organic dan non organic. Prioritas masalah pada Pengelolaan Sampah Rumah Tangga di Gedong Meneng adalah memfasilitasi tong sampah di tiga Wargadi gedong meneng rajabasa dengan kegiatan edukasi, aksi dan fasilitasi. Kata Kunci: Pengelolaan Sampah, Pengatahuan Masyarakat, Edukasi  ABSTRACT Health is something that is often neglected and we will feel how big it is when we lose the blessing of health. Health is not everything, but everything we have will be meaningless without health. A degree of health can be achieved through efforts to improve environmental sanitation, control and eradicate infectious diseases, health education, organizing health services or care and developing social elements to ensure a decent standard of living. Environmental factors that can cause health problems include air pollution, climate change and natural disasters, waste, poor water quality, infrastructure problems, diseases caused by microbes, and dangerous chemicals. In this regard, efforts need to be made to approach the community. Measuring understanding of waste management, action of throwing away rubbish and facilitating rubbish bins among boarding/dormitory students in Gedong Meneng Baru, Rajabasa District, Bandar Lampung City. Method: This service activity was carried out on February 10 2024, namely 30 residents in RT 04 and 06, Gedong Meneng Village, Rajabasa District, Bandar Lampung City. by distributing knowledge questionnaires about "Household waste management in the form of education on sorting organic and non-organic waste, the action of throwing rubbish in rubbish bins and facilitating rubbish bins" twice before and after the counseling was given. questionnaire results before counseling (pre test) and after counseling (post test). A total of 66.6% of boarding school/dormitory students experienced increased knowledge about sorting organic and non-organic waste. Conclusion: The priority problem in Household Waste Management in Gedong Meneng is facilitating rubbish bins in three boarding houses/dormitories in Gedong Meneng Rajabasa with educational activities, actions and facilitation. Keyword: Waste Management, Public Knowledge, Education

Abstract

A strategic plan is a crucial foundation for an organization in charting steps toward organizational success. Therefore, the formulation of an appropriate strategic plan is essential. This community service was conducted at SDN 002 Pantai Cermin Pekanbaru, involving all human resources at the school. The objective of this community service was to provide assistance in formulating the Human Resource (HR) Strategic Plan at SDN 002 Pantai Cermin Pekanbaru. The methods employed in this activity included observation through pre-tests, lectures delivered via PowerPoint presentations, practical training sessions, and evaluation through post-tests. The results of the community service indicated that: the human resources at SDN 002 Pantai Cermin Pekanbaru successfully formulated a realistic and implementable vision, mission, and strategic objectives; they were able to develop a detailed implementation and monitoring plan applicable in both the short and long term; and participants expressed high satisfaction with the community service activities.

Abstract

Improving human resource performance through optimal management, such as placement, training, and evaluation, is a key factor in enhancing service quality in educational institutions and supporting the achievement of educational goals and national development. This study aims to explore the strategies employed by the school principal in managing human resources to improve teacher performance at Azzuhra Integrated Islamic Elementary School Pekanbaru. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out using three techniques: observation, interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis was conducted in several stages, including data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and finally, drawing conclusions. The results showed that: planning includes analyzing needs and recruiting teachers periodically based on the school’s requirements. Organizing involves placing teachers according to their competencies and providing clear job descriptions. Implementation includes task execution, rewarding outstanding teachers, and applying educational punishment for violators. Supervision is carried out through routine control of teachers' performance, and evaluation is conducted periodically to assess the effectiveness of teachers’ tasks. The follow-up to the evaluation is the improvement of teacher training and competency development.

Abstract

Peningkatan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) menjadi salah satu fokus utama dalam proses pembelajaran. Pemahaman konsep IPA yang kuat sangat penting dalam membentuk dasar pengetahuan siswa. Namun, beberapa siswa masih kesulitan dalam menguasai materi-materi IPA yang disampaikan guru di dalam kelas. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA pada siswa kelas IV SD Islam Al-Husniah Pulau Kijang melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Kooperatif Learning dengan jenis Student Team Achievement Division (STAD). Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus, tiap siklus dilakukan melalui perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus pertama menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yaitu 78% siswa mencapai tujuan pembelajaran, sedangkan 22% belum mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Pada siklus kedua meningkat lagi menjadi 91% siswa yang mencapai tujuan pembelajaran, dan hanya 9% yang tidak  mencapai KKM yang telah ditetapkan. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat dikatakan bahwa Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif dengan jenis STAD dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas IV SD Islam Al-Husniah Pulau Kijang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami dan menganalisis bagaimana manajemen sumber daya manusia di lembaga bidang pendidikan, melalui sistem informasi untuk kinerja guru. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur, dimana data dikumpulkan dari berbagai sumber terpercaya, seperti jurnal ilmiah, dan laporan penelitian yang secara khusus menganalisis memahami penggunaan manajemen sumber daya manusia di lembaga dalam pengambilan keputusan bidang pendidikan. Tahap pengumpulan data melibatkan penelusuran, seleksi, dan pengelompokan literatur yang relevan. setelah data terkumpul, analisis akan dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasikan temuan utama yang berkontribusi terhadap tujuan penelitian, melalui langkah-langkah seperti pengelompokan data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman sistem informasi akan mengetahui pentingnya penggunaan sistem informasi untuk MSDM di lembaga pendidikan dalam  meningkatkan efektivitas, produktivitas, dan kualitas pendidikan. Serta dengan pengelolaan MSDM lembaga pendidikan dapat fokus pada tujuan utamanya, yaitu memberikan pendidikan yang berkualitas bagi para siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept of quality assurance systems in higher education, explore the implementation of technology-based quality assurance systems in universities across various countries, and understand the role of information technology in strengthening these quality assurance systems. This review also aims to identify the various types of quality assurance present in higher education institutions, as well as the technologies or applications used to support these systems. The method employed is qualitative with a literature study approach, involving the collection and analysis of data from various written sources, including books and scholarly articles. The results indicate that quality assurance systems in higher education represent a systematic and continuous approach that includes the establishment, implementation, evaluation, control, and improvement of quality standards. Information technology plays a crucial role in enhancing efficiency, transparency, and accountability in the quality assurance process, as well as supporting faster and more effective accreditation evaluations. Although the implementation of technology-based systems offers numerous advantages, such as improved graduate quality and easier access to information, challenges such as infrastructure limitations, the need for skilled human resources, and data protection must still be addressed. Therefore, higher education institutions need to adapt to technological advancements and formulate appropriate strategies to optimize the implementation of technology-based quality assurance systems, in order to enhance the overall quality of higher education and meet the expectations of all stakeholders.
