Abstract

This paper discusses the political policies of Islamic Religious Education within the regulatory framework in Indonesia. Islamic Religious Education in general is included in the national curriculum in all schools, both public and religious schools. This writing uses the method of literature study. The conclusions from this writing are 1) Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System has regulated the position of Islamic Education. In this Law, the position of Islamic Education is regulated as a subject and as a Sub-System of National Education, 2) Regulations in Indonesia as a source of formal law in the form of laws and regulations which have several elements, namely a written decision formed by state institutions or authorized official, and binding on the general public, 3) Government Regulation Number 55 of 2007 concerning Religious Education and Religious Education which makes Islamic education regulations increasingly clear in the Indonesian legal system.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to find out the educational method in the perspective of the Al-Quran and hadith. This study uses a qualitative approach, namely to describe and elaborate on educational methods from the perspective of the Koran and hadith. The data collection technique used in this research is library research (Library Research) where library research is the activity of collecting materials related to research originating from the Al-Qur'an, Hadith, books, scientific journals, literature and other publications that are worthy of being used as sources for research that will be examined by the author. The results showed that educational methods from the perspective of the Koran and hadith are: 1) the lecture method, 2) the method of discussion, question and answer or dialogue, 3) the method of raising awareness, 4) the method of giving rewards and punishments, and 5) the method of exemplary.

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to find out the sources of knowledge in Islamic and Western perspectives. This research uses library research. The results of the study show that: sources of knowledge from Islam come from the AlQur'an, Assunnah / hadith of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, Reason, Revelation, inspiration, five senses, experience, intuition etc. In Western epistemology, there are three ways to acquire knowledge: First, the rationalist approach. An understanding that knowledge occurs because of material given to the five senses and the mind which is processed by "reason". Second, empiricism, namely an understanding which argues that the knowledge obtained is limited only to experience. Third, dualism, this understanding seeks to combine or reconcile the two poles of understanding that are diametrically opposed.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development and contribution of Egyptian alumni to education in Indonesia. The method used in this research is research library (literature review). The results of the study show that: 1) Al-Azhar Egyptian alumni in various regions have a culturalist, synergistic, active, participatory and sustainable role, 2) There is a balanced continuity as indicated by the collaboration between the roles of "ulama" (scholars) and "umara" (government) in a cultural approach, 3) socializing the vision and mission of Islamic moderation from the institution where they study.
