Abstract

The decline of moral values in religious education within the current educational landscape is attributed to the lack of attention from society towards instilling religious values in children from an early age. The Maḥfūẓāt textbook offers a method for shaping religious values among learners. This research aims to explore the potential of the Maḥfūẓāt textbook in strengthening the understanding and practice of religious values in daily life. This qualitative study involved the head of the madrasah, Maḥfūẓāt teachers, three sixth-grade students, and three parents of sixth-grade students as research subjects. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the implementation and practice initiated by teachers begin with providing fundamental Maḥfūẓāt materials applicable to daily life, serving as role models, and instilling positive habits for both educators and students. Supportive factors include the educators' significant contributions to shaping students' religious values. However, obstacles include students who are unfamiliar with the Arabic alphabet, resulting in a lack of understanding of the subject matter.

Abstract

Javanese people and their culture are very attached to beliefs that are full of mythologizing, sacralization (sacred), and mystification (seeing something as a mystery). The demitology of the Bajong Banyu tradition tries to understand that Javanese culture is not just a myth, but a tradition that is full of the values of Islamic education in it. This research belongs to the type of qualitative field research25 which directly understands the portrait of “Demythology of the Bajong Banyu Tradition in developing the Value of Islamic Education”. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data source is the community. The results of this study indicate that in the Bajong Banyu tradition, Islamic educational values are contained, including social values, religious values, and artistic values. Parents are encouraged to introduce Indonesian cultures as early as possible so that they instill a love for their own culture.

Abstract

Abstract: The development and ever-changing curriculum of university offers some possibilities for socio-educational innovation of the high-level education. It includes Pesantren-based University. Constructivist learning process may further develop such an innovation. It is designed as a flexible curriculum and multi-interpretable model of implementation and adjustable contents of learning with high focus to the practice and disseminating of knowledge. Surely, it may pave the way for designing and creating socio-educational engineering, such as building strong character and high focus to the disseminating and practice of sharia entrepreneurship. This study aims to designing constructive model of learning to disseminate and create a strong bones and practical type of sharia entrepreneurship in the milieu of Islamic boarding school (Pesantren) as it is reflected in the Pesantren Darunnajah. The research method is done through evaluative instrumental method of curriculum accompanied by critical review of learning process theories. It is done based on library research, qualitative approach as well as constructive model. It offers agenda setting of socio-educational reference and applicative model. It deserves to produce and contribute an authentic result, while such a constructive framework of educational inquiry is still rare and in the process of becoming. The result be it is proven that constructive learning process can be an alternative for developing concept as well as practical model for Pesantren-based University.Keywords: Constructivism, Design Model, Pesantren-based University, Sharia Entrepreneurship.

Abstract

The problem in this study is related to the decline in students' religious values. The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of religious values at MTsN Bungo Jambi. This research uses a qualitative approach with explorative research. Data sources or research subjects consist of primary and secondary sources. The primary sources came from the head of the madrasah, PAI teacher and religious coordinator and several students. Meanwhile, secondary data is additional information. The data analysis technique in this study uses the Miles & Huberman data analysis technique with several stages such as data reduction, data presentation, and verification or conclusion. The validity of the data was tested by triangulating data sources to maintain the validity and validity of the research. The research found that religious values at MTsN Bungo Jambi were implemented in several habituation activities, namely: reading the Qur'an, shaking hands and saying greetings, reading prayers before and after learning, reading yasin Surahs every morning Friday, as well as tahfiz juz 30 (juz 'amma) activities. Implementation of some of these activities in fact has implications for growing the religious character of students. This implication is in line with the Ministry of Education and Culture's Strengthening Character Education (PPK) program in which the main character promoted is religious character which can be achieved through intracurricular and extracurricular activities through religious activities or habituation at school.

Abstract

The study highlights challenges faced by some Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers at SMPN 3 Tangerang Selatan in integrating ICT media into learning. Commonly used tools include YouTube, PowerPoint, Google Classroom, and Google. This research analyzes the ICT literacy proficiency of PAI teachers using a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Primary data were obtained from two PAI teachers, the vice-principal, and students, while secondary data included curriculum books, school archives, and related documents. Data collection involved non-participant observation and semi-structured interviews, with documents such as curriculum, syllabi, and lesson plans (RPP) analyzed. Following Tammy Moerer-Urdahl and John W. Creswell's phenomenological model, the steps included describing teachers’ experiences (epoche), identifying significant statements, grouping them into themes, and synthesizing themes into comprehensive descriptions. The findings offer insights into ICT literacy levels and reveal the ongoing struggles teachers face in effectively incorporating technology into PAI learning processes.

Abstract

Purpose –This study aims to analyze the digital literacy competence of Islamic Education teachers at Al-Fath Cirendeu Junior High School, South Tangerang City State Junior High School 3, South Tangerang State Junior High School 6, and Darussalam Ciputat Junior High School. Design/methods/approach – This study used the phenomenological qualitative research method. Research data was obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The participants in the study were eight Islamic Education teachers and four principals at Al-Fath Cirendeu Middle School, South Tangerang State Middle School 3, Darussalam Ciputat Middle School, and South Tangerang State Middle School 6. The data analysis used in this study was Saldana's Thematic Analysis. Findings – The finding of this dissertation is that the digital literacy competence of PAI teachers in four schools is still at the level of simple learning media users. The data in this study shows that the application of the digital literacy competence of PAI teachers is limited to ICT media users such as YouTube, PPT, Quizizz, Google Classroom, and Google Form which are used as learning media for preparation, delivering material, and learning assessment. Meanwhile, the creation of digital teaching materials has not been able to be done. Research implications/limitations – Practically, the results of the dissertation can provide input to Islamic Education teachers in four schools and Islamic Education teachers, practitioners and education policy makers (government) regarding the implementation of digital literacy competencies in learning and in developing a digital literacy competency model in learning that leads to sustainable curriculum development.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi keagamaan santri di Pondok Pesantren Al-Basyir melalui optimalisasi pembelajaran Al-Qur'an. Fokus utama dari kegiatan ini adalah mensosialisasikan pembelajaran Al-Qur’an. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan PkM ini adalah metode diskusi, demonstrasi, dan praktik. Metode diskusi digunakan untuk membangun pemahaman konseptual terkait materi pembelajaran Al-Qur’an. Sementara metode demonstrasi berfungsi untuk mencontohkan bacaan Al-Qur'an dengan mengintegrasikan tilawah dan salah satu ragam bacaan Qiraat. Selanjutnya metode praktik memberikan kesempatan kepada santri untuk menerapkan langsung materi yang telah diberikan dengan bimbingan langsung dari tim PkM. Hasil kegiatan PkM ini menunjukkan adanya dampak positif yang terlihat dari beberapa hal yaitu pertama, adanya antusiasme dan berpartisipasi aktif santri selama proses pembelajaran. Kedua, para santri juga dapat menunjukkan penerapan salah satu bentuk tilawah (Naghom) dengan murattal dan mempraktikkan salah satu bacaan Ilmu Qiraat pada surat Al-Fatihah dan An-Nas. Dengan demikian, kegiatan PkM ini memberikan kontribusi positif pada peningkatan literasi keagamaan para santri khususnya di kelas XII SMA di Pondok Pesantren Al-Basyir.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the many phenomena regarding curriculum problems in Indonesia which are currently changing, but are not balanced by increasing changes in the world of education. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education learning at SMPN 6, South Tangerang City. The method used is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interview and documentation methods. Informants in this study were taken from people who understand the implementation of the Independent Curriculum such as: principals, curriculum representatives, Islamic Religious Education teachers, and class VII students. The data analysis technique in this study uses the Miles & Huberman data analysis technique, namely data collection, data presentation, reduction and conclusions. The findings in this study indicate that the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education learning at SMPN 6, South Tangerang City shows an increase in creativity and love for the country for students even though there are obstacles and challenges. Teachers apply a structured approach with differentiated, project-based, and cooperative learning, as well as the use of varied learning models, such as Cooperative Learning and Project-Based Learning, supported by interactive teaching media. Meanwhile, the obstacles in its implementation are the large amount of time spent by teachers and students, and students feel burdened by the cost of making the project.

Abstract

This research based on the problems of the learning system in Indonesia which a national and international scale. At this time learning must be oriented in Industrial Era 4.0 and the educational paradigm must be change in systems thinking to the top level of Bloom revised taxonomy. The researchers analyzed how to apply using Reflective Metacognitive Learning (RML) model and integrated Garrison, Anderson, and Archer model to achieve Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) of KKNI Curriculum at Institut Ilmu AL Qur’an Jakarta in Islamic study program. This research based on a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis method. The data was obtained from the fifth semester students of Islamic Education Program of Institut Ilmu Al-Quran (IIQ) Jakarta and from all relevant sources such as interviews, observations, and documentations. The findings showed that the application of the Reflective-Metacognitive Learning (RML) model integrated with the Garrison, Anderson, and Archer model was found in the four critical thinking skills of (IIQ) Jakarta students in learning, for instance: (1) students are quick to respond to events (trigger event), (2) students are more able to explore (exploration) (3) students can integrate knowledge into the context of learning (integration) and (4) then students propose (resolution). It was important that the application of these two models can improve the learning process and level of thinking of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) metacognitive levels.
