Abstract

The results of this research show that there are several strategies that PAI teachers can use to improve students' morals, including motivation strategies, namely by using video based learning, through advice or providing insight, and through examples from the stories of the prophets and apostles, in implementation strategies. namely by designing learning objectives according to the curriculum, through habits, and through examples from teachers, and evaluation strategies, namely by game based learning evaluation methods, by involving the role of parents, and by portfolio-based evaluation or by interviews or interview with one of the students so you can find out what progress the student has made. Very positive results were obtained from these programs, namely that students' morals or morals improved, so that students became more polite. This is in accordance with the results of interviews conducted with students. They always pray before class starts, pay attention to the teacher during class, picket, throw rubbish in their place, be kind to their peers, respect teachers both at school and outside school by saying hello and kissing hands, and always set an example of good behavior and not bad.

Abstract

Abstrak: Perkembangan media sosial pada era digital telah memberikan kemudahan dalam proses komunikasi dan penyebaran informasi. Namun, kemudahan tersebut juga menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan, seperti penyebaran hoaks, disinformasi, ujaran kebencian, dan rendahnya etika komunikasi di ruang digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi tabayyun sebagai etika komunikasi Islam dalam interaksi di media sosial. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data diperoleh dari Al-Qur’an, hadis, buku, jurnal ilmiah, dan berbagai literatur yang relevan dengan konsep tabayyun, etika komunikasi Islam, dan media sosial. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan teknik content analysis untuk mengkaji dan menginterpretasikan berbagai sumber yang digunakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tabayyun merupakan prinsip verifikasi informasi yang berlandaskan nilai kejujuran, kehati-hatian, dan tanggung jawab. Implementasi tabayyun dapat dilakukan melalui pemeriksaan sumber informasi, verifikasi fakta, pengendalian emosi, serta peningkatan literasi digital. Dengan demikian, tabayyun berperan penting dalam membangun komunikasi yang etis, mencegah penyebaran informasi palsu, dan menciptakan interaksi yang harmonis di media sosial sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Islam.   Kata Kunci: Tabayyun, Etika Komunikasi Islam, Media Sosial.   Abstract: The development of social media in the digital era has provided convenience in communication and information dissemination. However, this convenience has also created various challenges, including the spread of hoaxes, misinformation, hate speech, and the decline of ethical communication in digital spaces. This study aims to analyze the implementation of tabayyun as an Islamic communication ethic in social media interactions. The research employs a qualitative approach using a library research method. Data were collected from the Qur’an, Hadith, books, scientific journals, and other relevant literature discussing the concept of tabayyun, Islamic communication ethics, and social media. The data were analyzed using content analysis techniques to examine and interpret the collected sources systematically. The findings reveal that tabayyun is a principle of information verification based on the values of honesty, prudence, and responsibility. Its implementation can be carried out through source verification, fact-checking, emotional control, and the enhancement of digital literacy. Therefore, tabayyun plays a significant role in promoting ethical communication, preventing the spread of false information, and fostering harmonious interactions on social media in accordance with Islamic values.   Keywords: Tabayyun, Islamic Communication Ethics, Social Media.
