Abstract

Differences of opinion in the legal field as a result of research (ijtihad) did not need to be seen as the factor that enfeeble the position of Islamic law, instead, it could give provide concessions for the people. Differences opinion of the scholars that occurred in the early days of Islam taught the next generation how to respond the differences to prevent hostilities or conflicts that damage the friendship among Muslims. Along with the development of Islamic law in the next generation, differences of opinion actually lead to negative things that damage friendship. It was caused by the taqlid toward the certain opinions and blame the others opinion. In this article, the author will try to discuss the causes the differences of opinion among the mujtahid. The results of research and discussion can be concluded that: 1). Ikhtilaf in language is disagreement. According to Raghib al Isfahani ikhtilaf and mukhalafah are when someone takes a path that is not taken by others, both in attitude and in words. Because ikhtilaf in human opinion sometimes causes the conflict, this word was sometimes used as a metophor for the meaning of the dispute and debate. 2). The causes of differences of opinion were: differences in legal sources, differences in abilities and ways of understanding texts, and differences in linguistic methods in understanding texts

Abstract

This article presents about Al-Qur’an, the holly Book of Muslims. Al-Qur’an is a guide for human beings to run their lives in the world. Al-Qur’an has values or directions for regulating everything from small problems up to big deals. Mufassirs had paid their much attention and effort to explore glorius values within the Al-Qur’an. Ibnu Abbas was a popular and honorable mufassir during the periode of prophet’s era due to his broad knowledge and accurate analysis in interpreting the verses of Al-Qur’an. He, even, was called by many titles like; bahr al ‘ilm (the ocean of knowledge), habr al ummah (ulama of human beings), turjuman al Qur’an(translator of Al-Qur’an), rais al mufassirun (the leader of mufassirs), and al bahr (Ocean).Next, Ibnu Abbas was also as a pioneer of interpretation theory which bore many interpretation models at the next periodes. His ideas were believed as the most accurate model among mufassir bil ma’tsur as well asmufassir bi al ra’yi. He, traditionally, even was trusted as a succesful great man who grew up an embrio of Hermeneutika al-Qur’an.

Abstract

Al- Qur’an is the guide human being in running life in the world. It does not only talk about faith and ibadah but also a lot of problems faced by human beings during the world. Allah delivers The Quran in Arabic. Each word of its has a very deep meaning to study. Then in this research, the researcher discusses the meaning of al Amanah. In the Quran, the word Amanah is repeated by God as many as forty-two times. The word Amanah, itself explains about humans’, prophets’ and the Angel of Jibrail alaihissalam’s characters. Besides, it also tells about gifts (enjoyment) received by obeyed men to Allah. Someone’s (servant) Amanah to Allah and His prophet is to do what He orders and not to do what is prohibited. Amanah to Allah’s prophet is by applying for his message and order, and not to against his shari’ah. Whoever runs Allah’s amanah, their nations will be avoided from His punishment. Amanah is the character of prophets in conveying Allah’s risalah in order to make human beings believe in the only One God, Allah, and obey all of what He instructs to them.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to discuss ulama in Islamic society. Ulama in Islam has an important position and role in spreading out and teaching Islam in the middle of society. In the case, the prophet Muhammad states in his hadiths that ulama is the heritage of the prophet. As the heritage of prophet, ulama has a very heavy duty and responsibility, not all human beings can be ulama. In this article, the writer discusses what is an ulama from the perspective of al-Quran. The word ulama is a plural noun of the singular one, `âlim. The word `âlim is ism fâ`il of the word `ilm/`alima means understanding clearly and surely. In al-Quran, the word `ilm/`alima in various derivations is repeated 854 times. Meanwhile, the word al-`ulamâ’ is the plural form of al-`âlim, in al-Quran is repeated twice: Quran, al-Syu’ara’ (26):197 and Quran, Fathir (35): 28. The meaning of ulama in this verse is someone who masters a study of Allah and syariah (Qur’aniyah verse), knowledge of natural and social phenomenon (kauniyah verse), and has sense of khasyyah.
