Abstract

Neck Pain is pain related to posture, sleeping habits, work position, stress, chronic muscle fatigue, degenerative changes of the cervical disc. Purpose: The aim of this research is to find out about the description of the functional ability of the neck on the duration of work of the Politeknik Unggulan Kalimantan employees who experience neck pain. Method: Type of quantitative research with a descriptive analytic research design. This method is used to determine the value of the functional ability of the neck of the employees of the Politeknik Unggulan Kalimantan who experience neck pain by using the Neck Disability Index (NDI). Results: The results of the research conducted showed that the most experienced neck pain was 37 employees with a percentage of 94.5%, based on the duration of the employee's work more duration of 8 hours of work with a percentage of 97%, impaired functional ability of the neck in Polish employees who experience neck pain a maximum of 24 employees with a presentation of 65%. Conclusion: The incidence of neck pain was found among the employees of the Politeknik Unggulan Kalimantan.

Abstract

Work craft sasirangan especially those related to human strength and endurancein carrying out their work can cause problems that have so far been ignored, includingback pain, neck pain, wrist pain, which are called musculoskeletal disorders. So thatmusculoskeletal disorders be one reason happening accident work. Objective Thisresearch is to find out musculoskeletal disorders in sasirangan craftsmen. Thisresearch was conducted in Sasirangan Sungai Jingah Village, Kec. North Banjarmasinwith the method descriptively using the Nordic Body Map questionnaire measuring tool.The results showed that the average age of the sasirangan craftsmen was 35 years,based on the gender distribution, the most experienced musculoskeletal disorders werewomen with a percentage of 56.8%, based on the distribution of the average workingperiod of 5 years, based on the distribution of average working duration. 7 hours/daywith a percentage of 45.9%, based on the distribution of the average working positionsitting on the floor with a percentage of 54.0%, and based on the distribution ofrespondents who experience musculoskeletal disoders an average of 49.3 with aninterpretation of mild complaints, usually complain of pain in the lumbar area.

Abstract

Sasirangan cloth tailors are required to work in the same posture with a long duration so they are prone to feel cervical root syndrome pain that also can hinder their productivity. This study aims to describe the tailor’s pain level of cervical root syndrome on Sasirangan. This research conducted in Sasirangan with descriptive-analitical design, purposive sampling technique and using the Visual Analog Scale (VAS) as a measuring instrument. The result showed that the majority of respondents are belonged to early adult age group with range 21-40 years old about 16 respondents (48,5%), women about 26 respondents (78,8%), have working experience ≥ 10 years about 20 respondents (60,6%), felt a mild level pain when standing still about 27 respondents (81,8%), mild level pain when flexing about 24 respondents (72,7%), moderate level pain when doing lateral flexy sinistra about 16 respondents (48,5%) dan rotation sinistra about 17 respondents (51,5%); and moderate tenderness pain about 14 respondents (42,4%) on C6 area about 17 respondents (51,5%).

Abstract

Growth and development is a process that occurs continuously from conception and continues into adulthood. In the process of child development, early detection is needed to identify early problems from the normality of child development. The purpose of this study is to find out the description of the growth and development of early childhood aged 4-6 years. The research method used was descriptive qualitative which was conducted on 40 children aged 4-6 years, to determine growth using body mass index (BMI) measurements and to determine development using a developmental pre-screening questionnaire (KPSP). Based on BMI measurements, the highest results were found in the normal category of 25 people with a percentage of 62.5%. Meanwhile, based on KPSP, according to the age of 28 people with a percentage of 70%. The most based on age, namely 28 people aged 5 years with a percentage of 70%, and the most based on gender, namely 21 men with a percentage of 52.5%.
