Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of Fondrakö Si Lima Ina as a basis for determining the honesty of marriage customs in Banua Dangagari, Sitolubanua Fadoro Village, Moro'o District, West Nias Regency, and to find out why the implementation of the böwö system was still complained about by some people when Fondrakö Si Lima Ina became basis for determining the fairness of marriage customs. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The research instrument is the researcher himself, who takes data using a cellphone as a recording tool, drawings and notebooks. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the research are: first, implementation of Fondrakö Si Lima Ina as a basis for determining the honesty of marriage customs, especially in Banua Dangagari, based on the norm values ​​in Fondrakö Si Lima Ina. Second, the implementation of the Honesty system is still complained about by some Nias people when Fondrakö Si Lima Ina determines the honesty of marriage customs because the amount of böwö that must be paid by the groom to the bride is determined based on traditional position.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role and constraints and efforts to overcome the constraints of village-owned enterprises (BUMDes) in developing food security businesses, in Hilifalawu Village, Huruna District, South Nias Regency. This study uses a descriptive approach with a qualitative method, with the research instrument being the researcher himself who collects data through observation, interviews, and documentation using a cellphone. The results of the research and discussion show that: First, BUMDes in developing food security businesses plays an active role in efforts to improve the quality of people's lives, strengthen the people's economy as the basis for the strength and resilience of the local economy of Hilifalawu Village. Second, the constraints of BUMDes in developing food security businesses are minimal capital, lack of human resources, limited marketing, infrastructure and low education and training. Third, efforts to overcome the constraints of BUMDes in developing food security businesses are providing education and training, providing capital to the community, providing farming equipment, promoting crops, and proposing plans for infrastructure development to the local government.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of public policy in poverty alleviation programs in Alasa District. This study uses a descriptive approach with qualitative methods. Observation, interviews, and documentation are techniques for collecting data. This study was conducted in Alasa District, North Nias Regency. Based on the results of the study, it is concluded that: First, the impact of public policy in poverty alleviation programs in Alasa District has not been fully implemented, because many governments still misuse assistance or long-term dependence on social assistance. Second, the constraints of public policy in poverty alleviation programs in Alasa District are the limited budget and facilities in Alasa District, which hinder the implementation of the program. Third, efforts to overcome public policy constraints in poverty alleviation programs in Alasa District, namely the District Government in collaboration with the Regency Government so that the public policies provided run smoothly, always collecting and analyzing accurate and up-to-date data to facilitate more effective program planning and evaluation.

Abstract

The role of Mentoring and Development of Village-Owned Enterprises is an effort to provide support, guidance and training to BUMDes in order to increase their capacity, performance and contribution in developing the village economy which involves interaction between the government and village communities in improving the economy in Onozalukhu village. This research uses a qualitative method using a descriptive approach. The research instrument is the researcher himself. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the research and discussion concluded that BUMDes have a very important role in encouraging village economic growth and improving community welfare. Mentoring and coaching can help BUMDes improve management, strengthen community participation, and overcome various difficulties faced. The role of a village head is to fully support existing programs in the village by monitoring every activity carried out in BUMDes so that they can run well.
